The tax cut may be one, but George W. Bush did tax cuts as well. So nothing special.

I don't think Trump can win another election and worse, I think his winning would lead to another Trump or Biden choice. That's a crappy choice, but there's a really good chance Biden would win. Trump actually got my dad to vote for a democrat for president for the first time in his life, and his opinion on Trump hasn't improved. His opinion about Biden is the same as it was before. Stupid and mostly benign vs deranged.
Too many of us are disillusioned with Trump. It's not his politics, and it's certainly not his lying. All politicians lie. It's Trump's inability to distinguish fact from fiction whenever he's emotionally vested in an issue. I align a lot more with Trump and DeSantis, and basically the entire Republican party on fiscal policy, the issue I consider to be most important, but I still wouldn't vote for Trump if he ran against Biden. Regardless of your opinion on whether I'm right or wrong to think that politics isn't just a team sport and my willingness to vote against Trump, you should be aware that I'm aligned with a lot of voters who would rather not vote for Biden, but will if the other choice is Trump. I consider Biden to be useless and rather stupid, but as much as I prefer GOP fiscal policy, I still couldn't vote for Trump.
So I'm strongly hoping DeSantis or another good GOP candidate wins the nomination. I'd actually like to see DeSantis run against Amy Klobuchar next year instead of Biden. Sometimes I forget which party she's in. If that election took place, I could happily vote for either and would base it on which way the house and senate races were going and on who might be leaving the supreme court. I'm not quite in the anyone but Trump camp, but unless AOC or someone like her gets on the democratic ticket, there's very little that could get me to vote for Trump. Like it or not, there are enough voters like me to make it more difficult for Trump to win 2024 than it was for him in 2020.

This is why he never got much done. He was too willing to placate to all sides to gain love rather than stick to his campaign promises and FOLLOW through.
He had the entire house and senate red his first 2 years and instead of pushing through a conservative agenda he kept trying to make friends with the left.....who just crucified him in response.
Plus he has always been off the cuff and not a smooth politician, but I get the sense that age may be starting to catch up with him. He is no where near as dementia'd as Biden.....but I am sensing some signs of mental weakness lately.

The difference was you didn't have the MSM and the wacko far left calling everyone a racist bigot for not agreeing with open illegal immigration or sex changes for kids or trannys for kids and everything else the left will try and cancel you for if you didn't agree with them.
You also didn't have the MSM and the far left promoting racial riots and trying to disband police departments.
The MSM and the far left have created all of this. For what reasons? I think we all know. They want the conservative white christian male and the culture that he created made extinct.

Yes or no. Did you say that you would sacrifice your kids lives (and the lives of millions of others) in a Nuclear war with Russia if it meant saving Ukraine?
Because I can go find the post(s) you made saying you would.
So what it is exactly I am lying about is a mystery to me. And you think I am on drugs? You are the one living in a different reality.

You also didn't have the MSM and the far left promoting racial riots and trying to disband police departments.
The MSM and the far left have created all of this. For what reasons? I think we all know. They want the conservative white christian male and the culture that he created made extinct.
The difference was you didn't have the MSM and the wacko far left calling everyone a racist bigot for not agreeing with open illegal immigration or sex changes for kids or trannys for kids and everything else the left will try and cancel you for if you didn't agree with them.

But then again, I’m talking to someone that thinks what Metroins posts on the R/P is somehow relevant to actual events.

One I agree that the left and the right are culpable over the years for things wrong in this country. I hold no magical belief that politicians are only 'good' on one side. I think that libs overall have done a way worse job....but the right is not without a lot of criticism.
99% of politicians are scammers and I don't trust hardly any of them. They all work for the Powers that Be, Globalists, the MIC etc.
So you are wrong there.
What I said was though very recently it has been the lefts turn....supported by the MSM....to try and divide this country with an attack on the straight white male and his culture. That is a 100% FACT.
And I am sure in 10 years the right will be doing something unscrupulous. But for now? The left is out for the destruction of traditional American cultural values and wants them replaced with minority led cultures that have no long standing ties to how this country was created and grown.
FACT.

Just stop being so obtuse. You know damn well what I am talking about. But like any typical lefty....you cannot even admit to something as simple as this. It goes against the cult that you and the left have created.
