Pics of shirt.

I don't understand the need to have slogans/political beliefs on shirts. I was at the airport and some lady had a shirt that read: "Treat your Queen good for she can do things that her King cannot". I don't even know wtf that means. It's cringe inducing.

Target has nice home goods. And I like some of their store brand groceries. But they became too expensive for me to shop much several years back-meaning when I was still part of a 6 figure household- the value just wasn't there with their clothing quality relative to price or their overall pricing vs. competing retailers. Now they have made some improvements in their clothing offerings, but Wal-mart has improved in that area too. Kohl's used to be the go to for best clothing bargains prior to the pandemic, but since then they suck as far as I can tell...reduced quality, kinda crap style.

A company that believes that they will appeal to more customers by hiring an actual satanist to design a product line and putting "trans friendly" clothing on their racks? Including "trans friendly" options for children?

Yeah, no thanks. I can shop somewhere else.

And I'm not some kind of gender hardliner at all. I'm totally fine with boys liking art and cuddly toys and girls liking cars and dinosaurs because what your are interested in or enjoy isn't somehow directly related to your genitals. But this "pro-trans" agenda? Whole other thing...encouraging mental illness and self-destruction instead of "free to be you and me" or "you do you".
I agree with the quality and price of Target items, i can go anywhere to get items of higher quality...Marshalls.

TBF all 3 big retailers are in weeds. Amazon, Wal-mart, and Target have all made official statements saying something like "customers are mainly purchasing basic items that they need and we are planning to keep selling a lot of grocery/household/health and beauty items".

Because consumers have been getting eaten alive by inflation and are tapping their credit cards hard just to keep up.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying, it’s rocky waters and minor movements when spy has been moving like a penny stock for over a year have 0 correlation with current news cycle. Maybe if we see like a 10% move, but 1%? Gtfo.

Looks like it's being done for each and every business that sells "tuck-friendly swimwear" to children. Sorry that you're bothered by this.

It's the investors who lost money, not necessarily Target. Vanguard, who owns like 9% of Target corp., lost $810M in a matter of a couple days.

While that doesn't necessarily affect Target directly, there is a 1000% chance that Vanguard is represented on Target's board and also real chance they will push Target to remove the inflammatory items or threaten divesting.

It still has the intended effect, and Target will probably still realize actual losses via lower sales numbers in Q2.

I find it absolutely hilarious. They always act like it's so difficult and such a big decision that impacts our lives so much. And that we can't get what we want elsewhere. Like "can't you just walk by and ignore it to get what you need!!" Uhhh I'll just go to the store across the street without a ***got display and get what I need. It's not difficult

Being gay is their entire personality since they're mentally ill is why. Most attention possible is their only goal outside of trying to multiply their group by brainwashing children

JFL @ plebeyans thinking this will make a lasting impact. They will buy back their own stock at reduced prices and capitalize on the gains when it eventually bounces back. Why do you think companies do random pc crap that will affect their stock? It's nothing more than pure manipulation to make more money in the end.

Yup when they start going after the kids it's a hard red line. There's no looking the other way when that happens.
