Maybe he always has loved being in front of the camera, but it definitely shows more now than in earlier seasons of shows like Hell’s Kitchen.

The UK Kitchen Nightmares is normal for the most part. I think the producers ask him to play up his dickhead persona on his american shows

I think he said at one point that he was tired of doing Hells Kitchen cause of how much he had to act like a raging dickhead for most of the time

Apparently he's pretty chill irl

Also, there are basic things I know for a fact that he gets flat out wrong. Examples would be he's always demonstrating how to sharpen a knife and makes a big show of using a honing steel which wouldn't get a knife sharp to begin with and might make it worse given the fast way he does it. Another example is if you do steak his way, it'll get tough and overcooked. If he gets basic things like that so wrong, it makes me wonder if he was ever any good at cooking.
I’ll outcook Gordon when it comes to meat srs

That just means he's a good restauranteur or bribes the guides. It has little to do with his personal cooking ability.

Those guides are also trash. There are very few Indian or Chinese restaurants on those lists. Yet, that's like 35% of the world population. Any good African restaurants? Now you're at like over half the global population unrepresented. It's just for a bunch of French snobs.

Plus nobody actually likes French food as much as Italian food. Everyone just LARPs and pretends like French is the best. In reality, Italian, Chinese, and Mexican are the most popular foods.

he closed alot of
his restaurants with loss,
he have kids and needs
to keep his lifestyle
and its always good to have extra money
and also being busy and having life purpose,
imagine him being @ 50 and living with his mom?
The restaurant group owned by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay narrowed losses to £1m last year as sales more than tripled after Covid restrictions were eased.

Ramsay has an interest in 50 restaurants including 36 directly operated outlets in the UK, such as the Michelin-starred Pétrus and the Savoy Grill, as well as 14 licensed venues overseas.

Yeah, I don't know.

I'm not a "foodie" at all, but I do find the artistry of if compelling so...sometimes when I'm drunk I binge watch some Gordon Ramsey.

Indian and Chinese food is also very high quality for the same reason, both cultures have a long history of royalty and royal cuisine. African cuisine, uwotm8, ain't nobody likes that?
Just goes to show because Japanese food sucks anus.

I can't stand the shows where he's just yelling Kitchen Nightmares etc. That chit is pretty staged too, but I actually enjoyed one of his shows where he's more subdued, and he actually immerses himself into the culture.

I think the show was called Uncharted. Pretty cool.
