The devil's been working hard on us lately boyos
Idk what you do in your free time whether it's listening to music or watching porn but ever notice in the past year how you're constantly being told there is no God for some reason?
I guess it depends on your faith, the stronger your faith the harder the devil wants to make quick work with you.
The past year it's been a lot more prevalent. Don't succumb.

I pray to St. Michael at least once a week just for this reason.
I pray for all my brothers and sisters in the union of the Holy Mass.
Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

St. Michael is actually an angel of God. St. Michael fights for us directly.
Earthly Saints who are now in Heaven, we ask them to pray for us as well as we ourselves pray to God directly. It's why we ask others to pray for us, brothers, sisters, friends, even strangers to pray FOR us.

Where do you see it OP? I've noticed that more and more miscers are turning to Christ in the last year.
You're going backwards if you fall for that one.
If you don't like praying to the saints then just pray to Jesus Christ or do the Lord's prayer.

It's been like this forever with film and music - the whole entertainment industry is run by a group of degenerates.
Doesn't matter if it's rap or pop - it's all made to promote violence and sexual perversion.
Underoath? Doesn't God tell us to not take oaths in the New Testament? they must be under oath though... hmm wonder who's?

St. Thomas Aquinas, the Prince of Theologians and Angelic Doctor of the Church, had a few things to say about Mohammed and Islam:
“He (Mohammed) seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh urges us. His teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected; he was obeyed by carnal men.
As for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity.
He did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the Contrary, Mohammed said that he was sent in the power of his arms – which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants.
What is more, no wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning. Those who believed in him were brutal men and desert wanderers, utterly ignorant of all divine teaching, through whose numbers Mohammed forced others to become his follower’s by the violence of his arms.
Nor do divine pronouncements on part of preceding prophets offer him any witness. On the contrary, he perverts almost all the testimony of the Old and the New Testaments by making them into a fabrication of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law.
It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity.
It is thus clear that those who place faith in his words believe foolishly.
other religions seem to refer to Jesus as a prophet and a venerable character and then they have their own thing you follow. If you pick up the bible and read, it clearly says “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."“He (Mohammed) seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh urges us. It literally has nothing to do with Judaism and the Judaic religion stemming from the time of Abraham, Egypt, Moses, Exodus, etc, and the Christian religion that came out of Judaism - nobody saw Jesus Christ coming though and Christianity having the most followers in the world.
So where does Islam come from? IMO the same place as any non-trinitarian sect of Christianity or any Christian sect that claims JEsus Christ is not God or the son of God.

St. Thomas Aquinas is fascinating to read, but I also accept that his views would have been formed when conflict with the Muslims was at its height. Most of the arguments I see from Christians attacking Islam tend to often be based on a genuine lack of understanding of the religion.
It is quite simply far easier to understand, removes the church and complexity from worship and it carries a straightforward message.

Explain the trinity? How can you believe in one God if God is three? Why is God and the worship of God so complex that you need theological professors to explain simple concepts?

We HONOR saints, but we DO NOT worship anyone except the Trinity - 3 beings, 1 in essence. The Triune God has revealed itself to us in 3 FORMS.
We ask Mary (the saint of all saints) to intercede for us because Christ's genealogy descends from the Davidic line of Kings. In that culture, sons who were in power, had to clear big decisions through the mother. It was a matriarchal setup.
We read several times in the Bible where Christ does what Mary requests - even shows the precious power of Heaven through miracles.
So, respecting and humbling ourselves to the Davidic traditions, we request THROUGH MARY, our petitions to the LORD CHRIST.
Mary was the new ark of the covenant, a holy conduit for the LORD. Not respecting the Queen of Heaven is a big nono.
The angelic host and the lesser saints are also spoken to as intercessors - they are NOT worshipped. We ONLY adore and glorify the Triune Radiance.
Protestants are too jealous of the Catholic Church to admit any of the above. We have it correct, you clowns don't. It isn't too late though for you, receive the sacraments and come home.

1. The Trinity makes no sense. How can three separate beings be one entity we call God. That is the very antithesis of monotheism. This is a human invention. No priest can give me a straight answer and they all differ.
2. Who was Jesus praying to if he was God? Does he pray to himself?
3. Why was Satan even trying to tempt him if he was God? Was he trying to corrupt God, with what exactly?
4. The Bible was written hundreds of years after Christs death.
5. We know nothing of his life as a young man
6. Why do we need to petition God through Mary?
I believe we are all born with a natural belief in God. That includes atheists. As we grow older life experiences and our choices send us closer or further away from God.
[b]But worshiping God should not be so complicated that you need a degree in theological studies to understand it, likewise following Gods laws and guidance[b]
Islams message is simple, and the more questions you ask of it the more it answers. It also provides you with a direct pipeline to God without the middle men.
The more questions you ask of Christianity, Orthodox or Catholic, the more questions it poses.
On the contrary, they believe Abraham and Moses were Muslims. Islam just means "submission to God"
Explain the trinity? How can you believe in one God if God is three? Why is God and the worship of God so complex that you need theological professors to explain simple concepts?

I am a Catholic, and I am telling you why none of this makes any sense to me anymore and why I am having a major crisis of faith.
Submission to God, but which God? My God is Jesus Christ, so which god is allah in the context of islam?
There are many would be gods out there, just look at the various pantheons that Jesus Christ eradicated and how they are starting to make a come back 1000 years later under various secret societies.
These 'gods' are all real, but they are not The Most High God, Yahweh from Old Testament who is Jesus Christ - that's why In the name of Jesus Christ demons and unclean spirits will flee.
Since when does religion need to make sense? It's about faith. So I put my faith in Jesus Christ because of my own experiences and had I not been so critical of Christianity from the start, I would have saved myself a lot of heartache.
Anybody can claim anything - demons get cast out of people in the name of Jesus Christ... do they get cast out in the name of Muhammad or Moses? No, they do not.
This is because in the Judeo-Christian religion things happened a certain way so that The Christ (meaning Messiah) would be born into the world, He's name being Jesus.
The trinitarian God is worshipped through faith - for example in the bible it states that God is a spirit. What is a spirit? Your human mind cannot comprehend what a spirit is, even though it's real and works on us all of the tme... so of course you cannot comprehend how God can be separated into The Father, Son, and Holy spirit at the same time.
You sound like you just don't wish to believe that Jesus is the Christ - so you're not alone there, and I wish you good luck, sir.

God IS NOT part of His creation, I repeat NOT part of His creation.
So when God became flesh, He had to test Himself to see if He was good - which of course He did and passed with flying colours.
God prays to The Father because Jesus relies on Himself and so prays to Himself and also because the father is SEPARATE to His creation- Jesus also says that only the father knows when His return will be... in John is states that Jesus is there in the beginning and that all things were made through Him.
Actually, the New Testament was written at around the time of Christ's death and resurrection - maybe only 20-30 years after the fact.
You have to remember that at around that time the church was still new and it took nearly 400 years for it to become the state religion of the Roman Empire - so the Gospels are condensed versions with key events... I think it's in JOhn that it says that the true number of miracles Jesus performs is innumerable.
At that point in time it was just the 12 apostles who went preaching - St.Thomas went all the way to India even, so now there's Oriental Orthodox churches in India, believe it or not.

Sorry bro, you are jumping through hoops trying to explain and rationalize something you are struggling to understand yourself now.
Why was Jesus praying to himself if he was God? Ask this question of Islam, it will give you an answer immediately and the answer is always consistent and the same. From a taxi driver to an Imam, they can all answer it and its always consistent. Ask this question of a Christian, and you get a different answer almost every single time, almost always interpretive and one that demands your faith in their interpretation. A Muslim will just tell you that Jesus was praying to God and prayed regularly as all Muslims do, because Jesus was a prophet, a messenger and the messiah. He was however not God, he was just deified by people at the time who were mesmerized by his miracles.
The idea that God would need to test himself is absurd, and that borders on blasphemy. Nothing in the scripture says that, and if God transcends all creation, time and space, the last thing God needs to do is prove anything.
The Gospels were in Aramaic, then translated to Greek before they were compiled into the New Testament. The Church decided what it would discard. The Quran was delivered as a complete book and memorized so that it could be passed on orally. Its complete, the Bible is not. Again, the expectation is that we should have faith that the Council of Nicene was guided by the Holy Spirit.
So again Ill ask it. Why is Christianity so complicated that you need a degree in theology to understand it?

The mystery of iniquity.
Absolutely Haram
"In it there are men who love to observe purity and Allah loves those who maintain purity."
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May he make his face to shine upon you.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life.
