Strange. Check this out. I got really sick this week. But yesterday I felt a bullet go through my brain and saw death. Saw the lights the energy everything like it already happened. Very strange feeling. Like it was a practice run of what is about to happen to me. Does that sound weird? Like today at work I had to crawl under av1600 lb piece of machine that was barely holding on and I decided to put extra bars on it because of this but if I get shot in the brain soon remember this that I already saw it and how can science predict that

Not a dream. Like I felt it and saw the lights. I can’t explain. Like life even flashed.
I am a Catholic, and I am telling you why none of this makes any sense to me anymore and why I am having a major crisis of faith.

1. The Trinity makes no sense. How can three separate beings be one entity we call God. That is the very antithesis of monotheism. This is a human invention. No priest can give me a straight answer and they all differ.
2. Who was Jesus praying to if he was God? Does he pray to himself?
3. Why was Satan even trying to tempt him if he was God? Was he trying to corrupt God, with what exactly?
4. The Bible was written hundreds of years after Christs death.
5. We know nothing of his life as a young man
6. Why do we need to petition God through Mary?

I believe we are all born with a natural belief in God. That includes atheists. As we grow older life experiences and our choices send us closer or further away from God.

[b]But worshiping God should not be so complicated that you need a degree in theological studies to understand it, likewise following Gods laws and guidance[b]

Islams message is simple, and the more questions you ask of it the more it answers. It also provides you with a direct pipeline to God without the middle men.

The more questions you ask of Christianity, Orthodox or Catholic, the more questions it poses.
Ugh you really think that thousands of years of theology doesn't have answers for your shallow as fck questions?

I guarantee, on my soul, you have not had any real discussions with legit priests about those, because that's basic Christianity, first year of seminary.

Christ is the third component of the Trinity. The LORD chose to redeem man by appearing as a lowly human . To save all, even the lowest of humans, He had to appear as one.

Christ has TWO natures: human and divine. This is called the HYPOSTASES (plural).

1 HYPOSTASIS, 2 NATURES. The hypostatic union.

This is why Christ is painted with a blue or red robe on the outside, and a gold or white under garment - it depicts His hypostasis as human on the outside, divine on the inside.

Christ IS God, but since He is of a dual nature, He acknowledges that His father is a greater form. "MY father is GREATER than I." His teachings initiated the first Trinitarians, who understood the dual nature of CHRIST AS LORD.

The devil attempted to destroy the HUMAN nature of Christ, but Christ inside was never tempted, He has all the divinity of the LORD.

As far as Mary goes, I explained already earlier about the Davidic line of Kings. You don't need to respect the traditions of the hierarchy, you have free will. Do whatever you like, that includes switching to a faith that reveres the MOON and holds that a unicorn carried Mohammad off.

I suspect you are being purposely disingenuous because you don't actually practice any faith. You are just an edgelord who pretends to have looked into these things but haven't at all. Sigh.

You are attacking me for my "shallow as phuck" questions when my entire point is that this should be easy enough for a child to understand. You should not need to spend years studying scripture and the works of theologians just to be able to worship God or understand the importance of the rituals you demand of them. You should not need to attend seminary to understand what should be fundamental basics given that Christianity at its core is built on a foundation of the Trinity which is an incredibly difficult concept to understand without relying on nothing but blind faith that the Church's interpretations are correct.

I must be retarded, and accept I know very little but it does not change the fact that I cannot wrap my head around the concept of one God comprising of three separate entities.

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” - I am now even more retarded, because any explanation of how God can forsake himself tends to require detailed explanations using multiple paragraphs, and no doubt requires one spend time in a seminary. When you read the explanations, its a total brain melt.

You don't need to spend time in a seminary to understand the basics of Christianity - you just have to practice your faith and everything reveals itself to you as you grow spiritually.

The LORD abandoned Christ in that moment because for Christ to fulfill His mission of redeeming man from damnation, He had to bear the FULL WEIGHT OF THE BURDEN OF SIN, which includes the sin of straying away from the LORD (like yourself).

In that moment, Christ felt His father disappear.

This is why after, just before death, Christ said "It is done!". He fulfilled the prophecy and completed His mission.

You have a LOT of reading to do bro. I can guarantee you haven't read any of the Bible. You are claiming it should be so simple a child can understand it - there are many who do because they TRY. I personally know youth groups who have solid conversations about this stuff during adoration nights.

Edit - typos galore

I wasn't raised with Religious beliefs or forced to go to Church, even though my great Grandpa was a Minister.

In saying that, my kids are all set to attend a private Christian Church, and I don't give a fck about the financial costs. Keeping them safe from Libtard indoctrination and Tranny storytime in the Library is of utmost importance, and there is no price I wouldn't pay. Clown world is not going to destroy my children.

I was Catholic. We hid our money in the church. Grandma said if they try to find it send them to St. Peter

Don't you believe men can be women and women can be men?
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

I tried that and clown world even infiltrated the Christian private schools, but I live in an extremely liberal area. The all boys school had boys who changed their sexuality every week and the all girls school had lesbians when they felt like it. I saw more "transitioning" in the co-ed Christian schools where it was mostly boys saying they wanted to be girls.

It's sad that my daughter says she's feels like an outcast for being straight and wanting to be a girl. Luckily she turned out OK despite clown world, although still, the Christian schools were WAY better than the public schools.
