I don’t trust Ford anymore. Their F150s seemed to be plagued with issues. Not sure about the Maverick though…maybe they’re built better.

Toyota is poising themselves to really eat a huge chunk of the auto market.

They're not going all in on the EV hype train and listening to the customer, most people rather have an IC car.

Yes, but Ford gets so BRUTALLY mogged by Toyota that they have to give tons of money to Toyota for each Ford Maverick sold because Ford has to use Toyota's Patented ECVT Transmission technology since it can't make it's own transmission for Hybrids the way Honda did.

Eh the 5.0 10r80 are really good trucks. The 2.7 eco was very very good from day 1. The 3.5 did have a lot of issues

I bought a new Ranger with the Tremor packake a few months ago. It had nice seats and wheels and was fast, but the rest of it was cheap and the brakes sucked. I traded it for a new Ram 1500 hemi after about two months.

I used to be a Ford man, too, but their quality has fallen way off lately.

The Rav 4 Prime goes 0-60 in 5.4 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 14 flat at 100 mph.
The Prius Prime goes 0-60 in 6.4 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 15 flat at 95.3 mph.
That's more than fast enough for the average consumer.
The Average Consumer doesn't really care about Rimac Nevera or Lucid Air Saphire levels of acceleration.
Prime models can go over 40 miles on pure ev between charges and you can
take road trips from New York to L.A. with no problem and no range anxiety because of their bladder busting combined EV and Gas ranges.
There are probably going to be more and more plug in Prime models of SUVs, CUVs, Pick Up Trucks, Sedans, etc in the future from Toyota as it's a much more reasonable no compromise solution than everyone buying all EVs which lithium mining and power grid capacity can't handle.

ROTFLMFAO at $1,200 for Nitrogen Filled Tires

The car already comes with tires, so it's $1,200 for Nitrogen, not for tires.
Costco literally has FREE NITROGEN with the purchase of any 4 tires with lifetime tire rotation and lifetime tire balancing for free.

A lot of dealers are sociopaths like that. Eventually angry Americans are going to remeber who they are and utilize their 2nd amendment rights to shoot up new vehicles on dealer lots by the millions.
