Because academic brilliance and mere intelligence aren't an automatic recipe for a million dollar company.
You need excellent networking and good social skills and squeeze every ounce of productivity out of a 24 hr day, initiative, panache, an eye for possibility and opportunity where it's not immediately obvious, a lot of creativity and keep at it for years and years even in the face of rejection and despair.
Plus a fair amount of start up capital.
Where will Wincel get all of that from? He's got a lot of book knowledge of subjects, but I'm not sure he has any of the above.

academics are academics because they are failures, if they were not, they would not be academics and they would instead make $1 billion on Wall Street, it is the retards who become professors or government regulators who get bought off outsmarted and outmaneuvered by that Wall Street folk.
Before my semi retirement part of my job was teaching people both institutionally and privately, I went through all these stages being an employee myself initially at young age, as well as the employer later on, and I can tell you that it is the retards who cannot secure private clients who go to work for universities schools and other corporations or the government.
Think about what an academic is, it’s an employee, a.k.a. a retard, who is not smart enough to run his own ****, not smart enough to be the employer, academics get paid, they are slaves, they go to work for the man.

A lot of these intellectual types who will tend the be well educated and articulate in which they speak well but when it comes to results of their ideas and solutions they tend to fall flat. They often have a very hard time in the real word. One thing that free market capitalism does is give a swift kick in the nuts to college grads. All that matters is results. Those results are usually measured in $$$$.
