Hell I was a 5 handicap years back, I played a US Senior Open Course from one tee box up from the pros and shot like 89, anytime it went in the rough was just brutal. I'm a 7 now after a 3 year hiatus and I would not be able to break 90 at say Bethpage Black. Oak hill would absolutely destroy me in the PGA Champ set up.

1 hcap have shot 68 on an actual British Open pre qualifying course. Its bs that scratch players cant break 90 on these setups

edit, 3 over or better on at least half a dozen other tour courses. probably more

added it up its actually 19 other tour or Open qualifying sites that ive been no worse than 3 over. Obviously they wouldnt have been set up as difficult but I play with current and ex tour pro's so I have no illusions where I stand.
