Glad Miami won. Probably would have helped if they didn't almost choke the series. Chitting on Boston in their own joint in a game 7 is kinda cruel though.


This will probably be amongst the lowest drawing finals in history though. You know that baldcel running the NBA is mad as fuk ATM.

Boston collapse lol. At least the handleless wonder Jaylen Brown was trying to win the game. Tatum pulled a disappearing act. Derrick White and Caleb Martin were the 2 best players on the floor

No disrespect to the Heat. But nobody on the East showed this year they have what it takes to win a championship. Too many holes and inconsistencies from game to game from every team. And that includes the heat.

Nuggets in 5. Nobody on the Heat has any size for Jokic, they are more talented overall, are better coached than any team on the East, have three point shooting and are too much offensively.

Lol @ Jaylen Brown, that was absolutely embarrassing. Maybe Tatums ankle was bothering him but damn for both of these guys not to show up. They went completely cold on their home floor of all places after clawing their way up from a 3-0 deficit.

This is why the Heat winning the finals is the best story for the NBA. The ultimate Cinderella tale in the most chalky league where favorites usually win.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

This feels like a series where the home team wins all their games to start, and then at 2-2 we figure out whether the Nuggets or Heat break serve in Games 5/6. Game 5 determines which team wins in 6.

Nuggets have some athletic defenders to throw at Butler who don't have to carry the load on offense.

Bam is going to have to be monstrous for the Heat to have a chance, but giving up a few inches and 30lbs to Jokic might be too much.

The Heat are a nice Cinderella story but if Denver stays healthy and doesn't choke they could make this a short series.

The nuggets are the better team hands down but so were the Bucks and Celtics. I'm not counting out Butler and Spo. He's one of the best coaches in the league

Murray played great but you can tell he was gunning for stats and finals mvp there. Heat make their run and Jokic comes back in to exert dominance

This is about to be a sweep and not particularly close.

Nuggets "others" are just too good, and honestly Jimmy hasnt been elite like he was in round 1 for awhile now. He won't get the blame of other superstars tho

Haywood Highsmith finishes with five more points than Butler. Miami only has two free throws. Weird game.

Denver looked dominant early. But in the end, they only won by 11 while shooting a lot better than Miami and getting way more FTs.

True. Even tho Butler is still in his prime, he won’t get the heat (hehe) for losing and falling short

He will have an 0-2 Finals record but that’ll somehow be ok for him because “at least he reached the Finals”

Butler isn't playing with anyone even close to being a superstar. This year they've been missing their third leading score the whole playoffs. That's why he gets credit.

Miami shot better from three than denver tonight

Denver was on cruise control all game. Once Miami pulled close, Denver closed it out pretty easily

He has 4 players during this run giving him 10+ PPG... For comparison sake, LeBron had only 1 other teammate give him 10+ a game over the playoffs in 2018

Weird, he still has more of a supporting cast than Lebron did in the 2015 Finals where he was missing Kyrie and Kevin Love. Or in the 2018 Finals where Lebron only had a washed Kevin Love. Yet Lebron only got chit on, while Butler is still gonna get praise
