Im skeptical about the huge shark head at that part of the video too, im not convinded thats a head we see, however, what i do believe is that he was indeed attacked at that point, the way the water splashes is not natural whatsoever and doesnt match the legs movement, plus theres a second splash on a different part next to the legs which i believe it to be a sharks tail.

I think he saw it at first and was like "nope", started swimming in the opposite direction of what we clearly see as a shark in the video, at least for anybody with an IQ of 80+, then he gets bit on his lower body, starts screaming in panic which can be heard in the video, then he enters in shock and realizes he is just about to die, probably got dragged by the current while he was paralyzed in fear which is why we see him out of sight. Im sure sharks finished the job shortly after that.

Probably. And I for sure see a shark at the 3 second mark. That other pic at 9-10 second mark I think is just his feet kicking. Not a shark head.

But considering he turned away from the buoy and the boat and started swimming the other way I am 99% sure he saw a shark and panicked.

Did he get attacked and eaten by one? Probably. I have been to that exact spot where the kid was and it is very close to land and the water is clear, warm and pretty calm. Hard to believe he could just drown and disappear especially considering there are all kinds of boats in that area during the day and evening.

One thing though a mother of one of the kids in the boat said that the boat was moving back to Paradise Island. So it wasn't anchored when the incident happened, at least according to the Fox story.

IDK, what are the odds of someone surviving in the ocean without a flotation device for 2+ days? Seems like either way, safe to call off the search.

I have been on that exact route the kid was. Land was maybe 100-200 yards away at most. Could have been a lot closer. Google map Paradise and Athol islands. The boat just travels along the land mass of both.
