How to get over wasting money?

I'm 29 and only have 15k in savings

It makes me feel pathetic I could of 150k now if i saved money since 23

But I was stupid

How to get over it?

majority of people live YOLO paycheck to paycheck

didnt you see the commercial? like 90% of people cant afford a 1k emergency LMAO!

Start over when you realized you fugg up.

Right now, just start over.

Then start over as frequently as you need to when you realize you are not doing it right.


You will never perfect it.

The odds are against us.

We have collectively decided hacking our brains for cheap and easy dopamine is exploitable condition.

It is hard to fight sometimes.

Start over.

Having some external form of accountability like another person helps. Usually helping each other achieve similar goals can help a lot.

15k at 29? That's way above average

It's not until like 40 where most people's savings take off

If I remember right the "avg" at 35 was like 10k. And avg could be misleading with some trust fund kids getting millions while others have 0

Edit: exactly as I said. The "avg" is way off. The median at 35 is 4,710!
