I think most guys don't have the balls or the finances to do this. But its 100% doable. The US isn't going to try that hard to track you down for skipping alimony/child support/ tax payments.

I realized how I could tell. Listen to them read the vows. Vows are meant to have reverence and meaning behind them because.....that's the point. A promise. you really gotta wonder what goes through people's heads in those situations, the men and the women. In a majority of cases ****ty people will put their ****tiness front-and-center for you, and a lot of people go through with it anyways. Either people are totally OK with a ****ty relationship due to loneliness, or maybe they overestimate their ability to change someone. Obviously if they haven't changed by the wedding then there's no hope. I swear almost every. single. guy I have talked to who went through a bad breakup with a chitty woman, ALL of them say some variation of "I should have paid closer attention to the red flags"
