The authors, Keath and Blumenthal, are some of the investigator reporters that brought the world the 2017 New York Times report on how the Pentagon had UFO programs in place that the public and others were not aware of.. NOW... they have another story that a now former intelligence official named David Grusch has apparently both told Congress and the US Inspector General what he had been told, and found out himself.

My ELI5: A high level military intelligence official, with direct experience working and heading UAP investigation for the Depart of Defense, has whistleblowed that he has direct knowledge / has reviewed official military documentation of recovery programs (some successful) of non-human made craft. These claims are being backed up by additional intelligence officials corroborating his claims, both on and off the record. He also testified to Congress under oath for 11 hours.

Congress had not been told any of this, which has sparked a call for investigations as that would be illegal withholding the information from Congress. Multiple people from multiple levels of intelligence agencies all whistleblowing something is going on and corroborating what the others are saying.

Testifying under oath is definitely a bit different and he’s definitely more credible than Cleetus in the trailer park, I’ll admit

This guy is the most credible person to come forward on these issues we've ever had. He did give an "under oath" sworn testimony to Congress, and is under the "WhistleBlower Protection Act". He's so far the one to put his name on it, but there were reports of backroom Congressional meetings with him months ago, we just didn't know his name or what exactly he was talking about with them.

Now the person above is right, that it seems to be he has never personally seen these ships/aliens/etc.. but he is pointing out documents, other credible accounts both on/off the record from other IC members saying/seeing the same thing he is seeing.

If this was the case then NY Times, Washington Post, etc would all have jumped on the story instead of getting resistance from the Intelligence Community who apparently told some of the news organizations that if they run this story they will lose sources in the IC going forward
