Computer brahs, help me choose a good laptop.

Im a literal retard when it comes to computers and dont know anything at all about them.

The laptop i currently have is like a decade old and it was $500. Its crazy slow i cant do anything at all on it. Its time to upgrade.

What would be a good laptop around $1000 in todays day?

I will only use it for

-Internet
-School
-photoshop
-video editing

This type of basic chit.

Any reccomendations on a good laptop that will last many years?

Lucky for you i just did this 2 days ago after 2 weeks of research
I also spoke to the sales rep at Microcenter and friends that do govt IT work.
