Pretty basic stuff anyone without a smooth brain knows.

Hint: when Carlson had 3 million viewers to his cable TV show, there were 3 million people who gathered at the same time to watch simultaneously. Carlson also broadcasts to Twitter live. How many people gathered at the same time to watch his broadcast on Twitter simultaneously? That would be an apple to apple comparison, son.

I am curious how this plays out moving forward, but if he can consistently get 20-30 million people tuning in (or finding it within a few days of upload) -- that is pretty serious and might change the way a lot of people get information.

It's over 100 million views and that's a lot. Being that he's far, far under the ratio of likes compared to his YouTube videos is a more interesting metric. A Twitter video that's been retweeted will play automatically (no sound) in your feed, and that counts as a view, but one has to actually click a like button.

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like Twitter displays how many times the video itself has been watched.
