General thoughts (currently 58, just got to Torment).

-Good game, well made, great music and voice acting.
-Feel like the builds could use some work - most classes have only 1 or 2 that are really viable. Should be making the other ones better, not nerfing the good ones down.
-I think the enemies scaling is a really good/cool idea when you are in a party - but don't think it is a great idea for solo. Or at least, shouldn't be like that in totality. Feel like everyone likes knowing there is an "area" that they can't get to yet, or if they go, they are getting 1-2 hit destroyed by whatever is there. Also creates content to look forward to, as opposed to how it is now, where I got to Nightmare yesterday and Torment today and it's really not much different at all between the two. I am a WW Barb and I was able to just NoBrain spin every boss down until the boss fight to get into Torment (which is actually hard and it was the only boss I died to I think - and it was like 20 times).
-I've already got my money's worth and I think it has a good base to build from for expansions, so a lot of meat on the bone still.
-Oh and the end of the story was kind of dumb, not bad, but a bit duimb.

Level scaling is purely for the casuals and has killed more games that it has helped. It is solely what pushed me away from ESO. In an ARPG it makes no sense. There needs to be defined areas of certain difficulties and that in and of itself is what creates content "areas" as well as opening the opportunity for terrible builds to either over-level or over-gear the content.

Plus, have fun when you try to respec into a poverty/under-geared/under-glyphed build at level 100 and you're still expected to perform like a geared level 100 that has been playing his spec for 100 levels.Hopefully have Baldur's Gate 3 by then so I can nolife that.

Still in act 3 at lvl 43. I really need to rush the campaign I think lol.

I stopped doing side quests after like A2 and finished the campaign at 40

Not a ton of time to play but I try to get the first 3 renown rewards in each zone before I move on.

Just saw that unique chest that has nothing but thorns on it. I’m totally switching to thorns Barb if I ever get that.

hey, at least he made the sweaty nerd statueI completed campaign at level 49. Once you hit 50 then I did the nightmare capstone dungeon to get to Tier 3. Now I can do all the side quests, dungeons, tree of whispers, etc.

Lol holy chit, tuned into his livestream and he's already level 56 again. Insanity.

Ya boi beat the campaign (died on final fight a bit), and WT2 capstone (died here too lol). Entered WT3 and got a taste of everything in the end game except for nightmare dungeons, PvP, and the large open world bosses.

Story was really good and kept me interested, the final cinematics were rather insane. Can't wait for what's to come in the expansion(s). Had goosebumps and felt motivated to lift weights after srs.

Level 52 arc lash atm. I've been mostly following a Maxroll guide for things.

I felt like while leveling 1-50 on WT2, my sense of power and overall game difficulty varied all the time. Very gear dependent. I didn't always upgrade my gear, both in the literal sense of upgrading at a shop, or finding upgrades (rocked a level 17 legendary ring till 50 lol) so I had phases where I felt like my damage was too low and enemies were too strong. And briefer moments where I was feeling overpowered as hell. My fault though because I wasn't consistently upgrading the gear, socketing gems, etc.

End game loop feels fun so far. I like that the Tree of Whispers tasks move around the world a lot so I'm finding myself in unexplored areas or finishing up side quests in areas I happen to be in anyways.

I can tell you that after you unlock WT3, and after you start getting more paragon points, and you get some sacred/unique pieces... the game stops feeling nearly as challenging, at least for WT3. I'm sure WT4 scales things up much more so I imagine you get one-shot or feel weak at least at the start... until the 90s+.

One thing I've been reading from people who made it to level 100 so far, is that paragon board feels a little OP to them. And I think I can already attest to that. I didn't know how it worked, but basically at level 52 I already have 10 paragon points, and I already got +20% magic damage, +20 int, 6% max life, and +5 will from it. These are major upgrades, given that since I've started WT3 at level 50, the enemies have only gotten slightly tougher overall from just the scaling that comes from them being 2 levels higher.

Pretty hyped for the end game stuff, but I'm not trying to sugar coat it since all things when they feel new to you are wondrous and interesting. And I still need to get into some nightmare dungeons and try out some other end game stuff.

Just started act 4. How much longer is the campaign?

i'm level 47 on world tier 2 still.. but i guess as long as its fun it shouldnt matter

6 acts and an epilogue. I'm 33 in act 3 right now, decided to beeline it through the main quests, did 3 or so blue quests and a couple of random events in act 2. I'll farm renown and whatever after the campaign.

I reached 50 on WT2 before finishing the story. I also did quite a few side quests along the way... I don't regret doing it, but you feel more incentivized to do it when you reach WT3 / WT4, because the open world events and end game stuff in general moves around in the map, and you'll feel incentivized to pick up a side quest or 2 in an area you wanna do end game stuff at anyways.

2 more Acts and epilogue. So much to do in this game its crazy. I still need to do a lot of the side questsThat's all that matters if it's fun

That’s a unique. A tier above legendary. Shako is probably best in slot for every build.

I could be wrong, but someone linked a unique that I also had earlier... and they had the exact same stats entirely... as if it were a static item that's not subject to randomized rolls and such. I think maybe they're fixed? So just getting one drop is all you need?

Hmm, game logged me out because of connection error, relog, characters aren't showing up, then 6 minute queue, then "there was a problem logging in" and now got an 11 minute queue.

Server maintenance. Apparently should be over in a few minutes. When I saw it was maintenance I just went ahead and did some chores I was procrastinating on instead.

Just starting WT4 in hardcore, had a lot of close calls but having tons of fun.
