Damn he was alive much longer than I would expect. You would think after the thrashing he took in the first 10 seconds of that video he'd be in shock and it'd be over. But he starts swimming away briefly and the shark circles back and takes another chomp out of him. Brutal....

I don’t get why anyone jumps in deep water in the ocean. I don’t give a fugg how rare it is to be attacked. I’m not taking any chances. That’s got to be one of the worst, most frightening, helpless ways to go. Guy was tossed around like a seal among his own bloody water, screaming for help as onlookers just watch…helpless themselves.

When I'm at the beach I simply jump in and then come right back out

My dad sometimes insists of kayaking around...even this makes me nervous .
I'm not in an area known for sharks but like you said take no chances
