dont know who this guy is but he has 4M youtube subs. all he seems to do is play vidya and monetize it. He didn't even say anything controversial in my opinion but be careful anyways.

No...that's what they want you to do.

It's called Compelled Speech and they're hoping to put enough fear into people by destroying their livelihood, slowly dwindling free speech down to the point where we no longer say certain things out of fear of the repercussions and eventually we're censoring ourselves..... then the govt steps in and makes it law.

The problem is that avoiding is dangerous.

This story doesn't add up. Surely if this was the real world, all of the people involved in this decision would be under investigation and eventually imprisoned, yet we hear nothing. Honestly, if this actually happened in the real world I'd expect everyone involved in this at Activision to get mobbed by the public and killed pretty much immediately.

That's why I do not believe any of this crap conservatives say. If there were truly drag queens reading to children, surely those drag queens would be immediately killed. They make it sound like we are living in some kind of crazy clown world! Lol.

Not exactly. It's basically a comment suggesting they aren't leaving children alone and are directly and maliciously preying on children's vulnerabilities. That comment is in fact a direct attack insinuating this group he's referencing is in the wrong with their actions.

Now, maybe they are in the wrong maybe they're not. That's not the point. The point is the comment is a direct judgment that he's made against a group of people that they are in the wrong. If Call of Duty or whoever owns it feel it's not his place to decide if that group has stepped out of line then they'll drop him which is what they did.


I personally agree with his comment, they do target children to push their agenda. But if you're trying to claim he's made some neutral comment about all parties needing to leave children alone that's not what's happening here. He's directly accusing that community of targeting children.

Why does a guy who's audience is mostly teenage males need to even make social commentary on a subject like that. Half the people following him probably aren't old enough to even have kids. So pointless.

It's the internet and what you post will always be taken out of context or presumed to be the worst.

It's great that people speak out and stand firm on their opinions, but I certainly wouldn't risk my insanely lucrative streaming/video game career over my opinion about the gays by posting questionable tweets. My net worth and financial security is far more important to me than sharing my opinions to people who will forget me the second I'm not a famous streamer anymore.

Most of us on this forum would NEVER share the opinions we share here, anywhere else. None of you would show up to work and start calling black people astronauts or dindus. That's nicks job, so he should just tread a little more carefully. Anyone who plays online games in 2023 knows they are all full of the softest and most whiney communities, it's no surprise to anyone, let alone people in the public eye, that he's getting some backlash for this.

so would I. The entire discussion is bizarre. When i was a kid in the 2000s, I understood that there were gay and lesbians, and transgenders, but I didn't think anything less of them. Just that they were not 'normal' as in straight.

Sure, it might not have been the smartest thing to do in a psychopathic sort of way. Do what's best for you, don't rock the boat. But, morally speaking, he is not the problem. In fact, I'd say he was morally obligated to say that, and we all are, at every opportunity.

You are right that I would not show up to work and bring up the LGTVHD+ community destroying our children, but this is a failing on my part that I am ashamed of.

Haven’t touched most social media in many years. Made what I did have private. Occasionally will use it for certain things none of which is viewable to the public.

Too many basement dwellers living with their parents that have nothing but free time and would love to punish people for wrongthink.
