MW2 is so gay that it's too gay for me, and that's saying a lot around these parts.

Hell it's so big on all the gay chit that it makes Battlefield 2042 look based by comparison. Heck that's what I moved onto, I got it for free with PS+ and I have been enjoying it far more than COD which I had to pay for (but got on sale).

I regret getting MW22, and won't be purchasing another COD. All the ph@ggotry combined with their general lack of care or updates. Not interested tbh.

It's probably one of the worst games I bought this gen to be honest. Only reason I got it was because it was on sale and I wanted to get a new FPS to play on my PS5 soon after I bought one. The story mode was just some lame ass predictable story that felt on-rails most of the time. I just wanted to get though it and never had any desire to return after. Then I played the multiplayer for a while and that's just your typical sweat-fest. Hell I tried to play some offline multiplayer against some bots and for some odd reason the game was always laggy as hell whenever I did that, and it wouldn't be laggy like that in multiplayer matches either, just some phucked up thing about trying to play a private game with bots apparently.

Only solution was to take my PS5 offline and play the game truly offline, but then I saw how laughably limited the game was when it wasn't connected to the internet. You basically only have 5 maps and no ability to really customize your layout. Like no joke about 90% of the content outside of the lame ass campaign is only accessible if you're actively connected to their servers. So basically knowing this, there is no way in hell I am ever going to buy another COD title. If they start showing up on GamePass, well that's the only way I might ever consider giving another entry another go.

It's sad too because COD titles used to be great to play offline, heck I got a couple of Xbox One's that have been taken offline with some (now) classic COD's on them. The games are totally accessible offline, I got custom layouts and all the maps with bots and split screen and all of that. It just sucks how that is now apparently a thing of the past, but then again if the rest of the bullchit is a sign of where they're headed, it's probably for the better. There's no shortage of other military FPS I can be playing.
