Pretty hard if we're talking strict press. Do you weigh 300lbs or something?

Without gear, it's extremely unusual. 225x1 is extremely unusual let alone 10,lol, it gives a strict press estimate 1rm approaching 3 plates... You sure you lift? Not that difficult to get to?? Push press, maybe, but strict press it absolutely is. It's probably the equivalent of benching 450 or so in terms of how uncommon it is among lifters..

I like cohbc so I don't mind and don't think he'd fraud, but regardless extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

320. But I know lightweights that can rip a 225 circus dumbbell for reps

It's not if you train it properly, there was a vid going around IG this week of a woman hitting 225 for one on a very strict press

not true at all lmao. It is a rare lift especially natty.

if you're 300lbs or have t rex arms, or are taking large amounts of vitamin T i guess , or are frequently spending your life around top tier lifters i guess it's different, but cohbc does not look 300lbs. For anyone below about 240, 225 x 10 strict press is extremely impressive and something that you'll see in less than 5% of serious lifters, and less than 1% of all lifters. It is definately not 'easy to get to if you train properly' - it's probably genetically impossible for majority of people without gear or bloatlording to 300+ lbs lol.

Please share the video of the woman doing strict press 225, i'd like to see it, but i bet she does not look like a woman.

Let's see your video of an easy 225 strict press x 10? Even at 320lbs it's extremely impressive and i'd be interested to see just how easy it is for you.

I don't think it's at all unreasonable to ask people who claim extraordinary lifts to post proof, that used to be the misc way. You expect proof for adlerian's claims, why should this be any different?

He of course doesn't have to post chit, but then he can hardly be surprised if nobody believes his claim.

I didn't say he did it. I just don't think it's as outlandish as people seem to think. I also didn't say I could do it. But I've seen some massive OHP numbers over the years.

I do have a looser definition of strict though, and maybe the ten reps is more than I'm thinking.

But look at strongman comps - they push press but people put up over bodyweight for reps routinely.

The push press and OHP are two different exercises completely.

You said it's 'not difficult to get to' and 'not hard to believe', so let's do some analysis of the numbers to put it in its proper context:

- Strongman usually does log press, and it's with body english, it's a very different movement. I can literally push press 50+lbs more than i can strict press lol
- You have to bear in mind cobhc claims to weigh below 200lbs too (somewhere around 185 if the 2018 thread that was posted is to be believed), and natty.
- 225 x 10 gives an E-1RM of about 300lbs. According to Muzz's chart, theworld recordfor 181 is only 50lbs more (and is likelynot natty). Let's cut the crap with claiming it's easy if you 'lift properly'. He's somewhere around 50lbs of thee WR, while being natty.
Does that sound like its 'not difficult to get to' or 'not hard to believe' without proof, honestly?

It's not quite an adlerian-esque outrageous claim, and i wouldn't say it's impossible for him to do this lift, but he would be pretty fkin elite if he can, and asking for proof is not unreasonable. However, given his reply in 2018 i doubt we're getting any proof.

It sounds like you're around a lot of strongmen weighing 300lbs doing overhead chit, so i understand the confusion and it's justified, but i think you're a little misinformed here to be honest. No hate because you're a good poster.

Quoting for mind blown that someone online admitted they were wrong.

I thought you were hanging around with mutants by not being impressed with a two plate strict OHP.
