And there’s collectibility factor, only 5000 units from each and you can scan the deck with the mobile app to see your number

It's just a big external controller? How does it prevent the switch from thinking it's docked and turn off the screen?

Why would this be even remotely considered collectible? Is there not dozens of aftermarket controller devices for the switch already? Is there anything special about this one?

Nintendo people are easily manipulated into "collectables". It's a good marketing tactic, but that group usually sticks with OEM.

I hate this stupid manufactured collectable status bullchit. Just produce as many as you need to meet demand, all this artificial scarcity with these companies like Limited Run sucks.
