I flew Bell Hooey's in Vietnam. This is a classic case of the pilots sleeve catching on the cyclic. Hence the sudden sharp bank. It's easy to do because the cyclic has these really sharp buttons on it and chopper pilots always have to wear long sleeves. He was a gonner the moment he span up the primary rotary blade
