Bird chit etching on roof

Title.
Never noticed it until the weather got very hot, and it's pretty bad. It has definitely eaten some ways through (maybe all the way) through the clearcoat.
Things I've tried so far:

Hairdryer (did nothing)
Blue Rupes heavy cutting pad with Megs UC and a DA polisher - did nothing
2500 grit wet and dry - did nothing

At this point I'm not sure what to do. I don't have a paint depth gauge so idk how much clear I can afford to shave off in the hopes that it removes the etching. There's 3 or 4 pretty big splatter marks on the roof, so maybe a full roof respray unless anyone has any other suggestions?

Ayyyy lol this subsection is pretty dead

Honestly bruh I'd just look up a detailer or paint correction specialist type of dude. I like detailing my car as much as possible myself but once a year I take it to a detailer and maybe every 3ish I'll get proper paint correction to fix all the swirlies I make pretending I'm good at detailing my own car.

Well this is what I used to do I doubt I'll spend the money paint correcting my subaru because it's a Subaru. I did it on my xterra cause the paint was black and I treated that suv better than my gf.

I went to a specialist today and he said it's etched down to the base coat. He said learn to live with it or pay £600 for a full respray. I'll live with it, not worth trying to chase perfection on a daily driver. I did some research and it turns out depending on the birds diet, it can burn down to the base coat in a matter of HOURS. Fkin birds mang I hate them

Full pic of car? How old, and how is the paint overall? I’m a bit anal, but drives me crazy when I see full panel repairs where it isn’t a perfect match.

I’d probably just look at getting the roof wrapped black before sprayed.
