They've been comfortably exploiting their own country and getting rich thanks to Russia since the Soviet Union collapsed.

This new "sovereignty" thing is only coming from the mouths of autistics. If they wanted sovereignty, they would have done it the same way Poland did.

What does exploiting their own country even mean? Doesn't every country exploit the land in some way in order to sustain life? Look at Japan or South Korea. They have to use the resources of the land to become modern AND take in aid from other countries by forming alliances. I don't know how much aid Japan got after the nukes but I'm sure US aid and trade has helped both Japan and South Korea to be modern, although they could've done it without aid.

Don't know much about Poland. In fact don't know much about these ghey ass Euro countries.

They didn't give 2 chits about Ukraine or their sovereignty.

Poland hated Russia for a long time especially since WW2. They despised communism and their corruption. The second they had their chance, they broke ties.

They have to sell out in order to bring in money somehow. I believe that's how you get the funding's to buy tools to start milling resources from the land. And what better person to sell it to than your closest neighbor, the Russians? So I don't think its a sellout. Could be of course. Ukraine seems to be doing well for itself as I've seen in pictures with modern housing and buildings.

But again, I thought I knew alot about this war and about Russia but it seems like I don't know much at all now. It's all alot more complicated than I thought.

One thing I do know. Ukraine should'nt have provoked Russia and stepped over certain boundaries. Russia has one of the nicest leader in office right now and for him to green light a war on your country means you fkd up really bad.

But we're past all of that. Ukraine leadership needs to give into certain Russian demands that I think is very reasonable to end this war and still have control over majority Ukraine.

What it seems like though is that the Ukaranians want to kick out all Russians from their country at this point.
