China has a lot more leverage now in talks with Taiwan, Taiwan saw what happened in Ukraine when they refused to cooperate with the big dog in the region and the U.S. is sinking all of it's financial and political resources there before it goes into recession lol, Taiwan can't be feeling comfortable.
Taiwan wouldn't and shouldn't have a lot of confidence in the U.S. protecting them or looking out for their best interest when offering advisement.
If China offers Taiwan "the silver or the bullet" then it is now more likely that they take the silver, China can take Taiwan without a sound.

I mean you're the one that thinks the World Economic Forum also has good intentions, lol. How do you qualify any of your opinions as anything other than pure propaganda?

Do you see the West pushing for all-electric vehicles when their energy grids can't support it?
Do you see the West pushing to curb as much manufacturing and industrial production as possible in the name of being "environmentally conscious"?
China is starting to hold all of the keys. Globalists love China, even if China steals all of their IP and cuts off market access to them.

Taiwan is functionally independent right now. There is no reason to antagonize China over meaningless words and platitudes.

I don't think we should antagonize China, but here we are doing the same stupid things over a useless patch of former-Russia.
