Yup, great series. Been a fan since day one with Yakuza on PS2.
Much better than the overrated Shenmue games

The sequels is where I lost interest, I think Ryo's home town was the main draw, the characters, the way things would change with seasons. With the sequels it felt like they just tried to keep it going, and Ryo's story just wasn't that interesting anymore. They really should have ended it with the 3'rd game.Yup, great series. With Yakuza it just felt a lot more fun, and they really added to the activities and things you can do. I especially loved Yakuza 0 and how ridiculous it felt, like a cheesy 80's comedy beat-em-up. Like a dragon is different, turn based, but I think that's surprisingly fun as I usually hate turn based RPG's like that. I guess they just managed to give it some great characters and a good story, plus the style is wonderful as well.

second favorite series of all time.kiryu is easily one of the baddest motherfukers in all of gaming.Cant wait to see what LAD Gaiden is gonna be like.they are all great.O is my favorite and glad i started with that one.i played them in chronilogical order. as far as shenmue goes yeah they did stuff no one had did before at the time but holy chit shenmue 2 was a chore to beat back in the day.i bought 3 but it was so bad i just put it down.ill beat it one day.maybe.ive actually got a custom t shirt with Majima's hannya mask tattoo and snakes.id take a pic but cant figure it out here for some reason

Yakuza remains one of the best consistently well made high-quality games that are released. It's a shame so many people don't play it or talk about it.
RRGS also one of the best developer's in the market right now, consistently releasing out games on a good schedule that doesn't compromise on quality.

Sig line can't be a novel

Fuaaark boys! I've finished Kiwami 1 and 2 after playing the original first 2 games on the PS2 as a kid (LOL at the English dub with Mark Hamill as Majima).
Incredible series, need to get through the 3 HD remasters + 6 then look at playing the Lost Judgment games before starting 7. Like a years worth of gaming ahead of me to finish everything as I like doing all the side chit etc.
