Just Took Topical Finasteride For The First Time - Immediate ED and Sore Genitals

I put it on my hair post shower this morning. When I stepped out of the shower I noticed an immediate sensation of my balls getting sore

I watched a porn at 9PM to see if I could get an erection and I can't.

I then found this sub reddit and it turns out people experience ED, shrinkage, suicidal thoughts, debilitating fatigue, and more for YEARS if not permanent from only taking ONE pill.

Misc bashes Reddit homos but they’re really not that different, weighing emotional sensationalism over actual data and common sense. Your dosage may be too high. I use about 2.5 ml of 0.0125% of Topical Finasteride once a day.
That's just over 1/4 mg of Finasteride per day.

This should lower your scalp DHT by 52% and your serum DHT by only 24% so it won't cause problems for most men only for the very very few men with hypersensitivity to Finasteride.

I make my own by using a pill crusher to crush 7.5 mg of finasteride into a fine powder, put it in a 60 ml bottle of 5% minoxidil liquid, shake it for 10 minutes, and then I have my own customized minoxidil+Finasteride combo.

Listen here bud, I had the same placebo chit as you when I was using Minoxidil to finish off my viking beard

1st day using I had a headache after reading it lowers blood pressure which may cause headaches and other symptoms

2nd day I hesitated and realized I already had a headache before I'd even applied the stuff

By the 4th or 5th day I wasn't thinking anymore about side effects and realized after a week that the headaches and "weird feelings" I was having were all gone

Used for over 1.5 years with no issues than dry skin and needing to moisturize in the morning

Oral Finasteride causes far more serum dht reduction compared to Topical Finasteride while not having better scalp dht reduction than topical finasteride.
Basically Topical Finasteride has a much better Scalp DHT Reduction to Serum DHT Reduction ratio.
You want to keep your Serum DHT as high as possible while also having the lowest Scalp DHT Possible.
0.2275 mg to 0.455 mg of Finasteride applied topically seems to be the sweet spotwhere you get the great scalp dht reduction without too much serum blood dht reduction.
You're maximizing your hair loss prevention and you're minimizing your chances of side effects.

I have had one of the worst cases of post finasteride syndrome (i used dutasteride actually) and i know how harmful this pill can be. I really doubt however that 1 dosage of topical can A) affect your systems enough to case a huge reversal in ability to main erection and make your nuts sore. You are overthinking it. relax and you will be fine

In the end, topical finasteride has a low enough dalton weight to go systemic. The idea that you can disproportionately decrease scalp dht compared to serum dht is only backed by one single study. If the study went on longer, we would probably see the same serum dht suppression in the end. So I just save myself the hassle and take the pill.

It cuts your dht in to a third of what it was. For genetically borderline males, this may ruin their life. I didn’t even notice it personally. But if topical makes you more comfortable with doing something, by all means. It works. If I was going to bother with topicals though I’d just do Pyrilultamide or Dutasteride mesotherapy. Probably more effective with less sexual suppression
