The irony here is that Hunter has actually gotten a rawer deal than most people would given the circumstances. Most people don't really get charged for lying on a gun form as I understand it, and IRS doesn't waste much time auditing the wealthy elite.

So people who avoid that much tax don't really have to meet a punishment.
