I'm in 3rd world piss island and got mine last year March then got another a few months later. No excuses, they are far more available now. In fact you should be able to walk into a best buy and pick one up.

And don't skip on the Astrobot platformer game that comes with the console. It shows off the controller haptics really well and is also a fun lil game in itself.

Oh sweet. My PS4 broke some time ago, and ive been using a fire stick for all my streaming and definitely dug the PS interface 100000000x better.

@boyos I'm giving FF16 a couple months to cook due to reports saying performance mode runs like ass. 720p in action scenes and still cannot hold 60fps consistently is so disappointing.

Game is definitely badly optimized and I hope it can be fixed in a few months.

Picking up in person would be more fun... But 5% of 500 isn't nothing. Up to you. If somehow something is wrong with the console I'm guessing it would be easier to replace by Walmart?

I bought a current gen console and an OLED to leave 30fps behind. Plus FF16 isn't some slow game, it's a fast-pace action game with cool split second attacks, dodges and parries. Doing that in 30fps is gonna be so bad and on top of there there'll be a bunch of input lag. No thanks jefe.

Will wait for a performance patch or play on pc later on.

Maybe? But also, amazon has drop off returns to Whole Foods. Which i have 5 mins from my house.

Disc version will play 4k uhd blurays if you're ever into that. I never thought I'd be but suddenly I have almost 20 movies in my collection and they look so much better than streaming.

Other than that, I'd agree. All my games are digital.

My ez suggestions are God of War 2018 and Ghosts of Tsushima if you haven't played them on PS4 yet. They get some really smooth PS5 upgrades that make them much more enjoyable. Plus, being a few years old they are often on sale.

I just finally started Elden Ring last night, only played like 45 mins and already I'm super fuking excited. I can tell I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this one, and that will give me some time for FF16 to get patched up.

If there's one thing I learned the hard way is your best experience of a game is the first time you play it and if you can stand to wait a while after release, the game often gets fixed considerably via updates.

I can't even think of any other game that has so much action and stuff happening all at once. So I'm not at all surprised that it's not locked at 60fps.

The action in GoW Ragnorak's combat doesn't even compare to FF16.

And 720p is unacceptable on a ps5 man. Imagine you bought your shiny new console with 4k on the box and big 75 inch 4k OLED TV to bring out all those crispy high res graphics and someone told you that the first year of actual next gen releases will be as low as 720p. You would never believe them.

Even worse, the game still struggles to hold 60 frames despite the resolution drops loool. People are saying it drops below 40fps in some areas.... In performance mode! Da fuk?
