I don't think it crosses the line into disrespect. I think it does fall short of honoring the dead.

These types of operations should never be undertaken by private individuals. Only government-backed and heavily regulated organizations like the Navy or NASA should be doing this type of ****. They ensure to the highest extent possible that everything will be engineered well and that there is redundancy and strict training. Even then things go wrong and people die.

When some private chithead who has more money than sense tries doing it, you get garbage like this where he thinks it's ok to use an Xbox controller and that he "doesn't need" backup safety systems.

The fuking thing just disappeared because communication was lost. Like this fuktard CEO did not think this through nearly enough and all the people stupid enough to get on board with him all paid the price. No surprise they got on board though just look at that one ***get's stupid ass ***get son posting on twitter. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Based on how many corners were cut, I don't think he actually cared about not hiring old white dudes. I think that was a talking point for why he didn't have anyone experienced designing this garbage. He probably went to experienced and qualified people, laid out his idea and budget, and they told him to get fukked. So he had to hire some recently graduated college kids and called it diversity.

Which begs the question, why is the US Coast Guard involved in the search?
