So far I've gathered from women
1. all they want to do is talk about what you do for fun - when asked what they do, they never have hobbies
2. All of them are obsessed with traveling/drinking.
3. They don't like guys who don't have social lives
4. Most are boring/autistic as **** on dates
5. 95% of single women have absolutely 0 game
6. Most women think they're prettier than they are
7. Any moderately attractive women will show up late

It seems to take a while to move up in the algorithm, hence it can be useful to use boosts or w/e on Tinder.
As others said, it's not a ton of money compared to what a night out would cost. Don't view it as "I need to pay to get a date," rather you pay to have a much wider selection of who you want to go on a date with.

I've never really followed any type of "game" and been pretty genuine online. With Hinge I found I got a lot of responses to my initial message (which I often put a bit of thought and effort into) but the majority had unengaging responses and didn't respond to a 2nd message. So I got a bit frustrated with the effort I put into a first message only to go nowhere.
The two dates I had over a few months were less attractive than their pics.
I feel like less time is wasted when someone matches based on my profile alone (Tinder or Bumble).
But yeah the overall quality may be higher on Hinge or Bumble. Tinder is just the most straightforward but I'll likely switch it up as time goes on. TBD.
I'm straight up about being a dad as well as allergic to pets which is no doubt limiting my matches. I need to get out and about more IRL like I did pre-Covid but I am older, pickier, and have less desire to drink as often as I did a few years back.

Hinge X is proving to be worth it.
Quality and frequency of matches have improved.
My stack has way better quality of girls actually my type.
Still giving it more days for the algorithm to readjust.
But yeah I matched with this girl who liked me first and she’s is my fookin typeeee. She messaged me tonight again after the initial match earlier today. not holding my breath because of that reply time… We’ll see what happens
