This
The closest thing to implosion of Titanic was that scene shown in the movie where the captain is stood by the wheel and all the windows cave in from the water pressure and drown him

The discussion is whether wine bottles would survive an implosion...not whether or not the titanic imploded. You are fooking dense.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

Also big Ern, I don’t think your logic on the game controller not being crushed works, Look at the coffee cups they sent down there.
The Styrofoam cups? The ones full of air?

I guess the controller could have gotten fukt up in the implosion, but if you drop one off a boat at the surface, it'll make it all the way to the bottom completely intact.

Yes because it has minimal air inside it which will escape out the cracks on the way down.
It didn't survive being inside the sub when it imploded though, it's like a ton of TNT explosion but played in reverse.

The sub was built with audible sensors to detect cracking, I would assume that yes they may have become aware that the hull was cracking and tried to ascend.

I googled it and the "experts" say that ocean exploring is more difficult because you can't see anything more than a few feet in front of you and that you're traveling at very slow speeds. That's agreeable.

Thanks to Mr Stockton and OceanGate, we now have even more knowledge on ocean science. Technically you could build a sub to reach the titanic and you could technically build a cheap spaceship to reach the exosphere(space). But you have to do it where you come out alive each time. So it's pointless to just say you have a ship that can reach the deepest ocean floor or outer space.

But I do agree that going to space is harder in general because you have to build the space craft correctly and it's much more complex than deep sea sub where the most obvious thing to worry about is pressure(we now know that concretely and fully thanks to OceanGate). In outer space there's so many things that could kill you(launch, rentry, space debri, mechanical failure of life support). With the ocean, its mostly just hull pressure.

The problem with American engineering is that they can't seem to find a fine point between safety and main goal. For example, I bike alot and see alot of white Americans ride with a helmet. I would never wear a helmet because I just don't need it for my situation. But they might force this helmet rule on everyone. And I touched on how seeing where to put you eggs in engineering can be very difficult. Mr Stockton was innovative in that he tried to remove barriers to sea exploration. I'm not exempting him for his fatal mistakes but that's part of innovation.

So going to space is harder. But actually "exploring" is much more easier than sea exploration.

What. A. Fukking. Moron.

Holy fuk the hubris. It's almost like he's taking pride in making the sub with the chittiest materials and tech possible that can still manage to reach the titanic.

At least they heard it crackle before it imploded.

Man it would have been epic if they had one of those underwater bots with the cameras on them follow the sub. The implosion must have been epic. They should do an unmanned recreation with the same kind of sub.

I thought about the same thing. Something imploding hard enough to kill 5 people in a millisecond would have been gnarly to see.

I'd imagine once it starts cracking slightly and there's a weak point it's probably seconds before they're all turned into dust.

Nah what actually happened to the bodies?

I mean I get the implosion, but were there bone left over? or did everything just turn to liquid...im fascinated by this.

Also the controller reviews on amazon are hilarious lol.

They had enough time to drop their weights and start ascending before the big kaboom. They had at least a couple minutes of butt puckering before Rich Piano met them at the pearly gates.

Probably nothing big enough to even be fish food.

1. The pressure created is like a pressure cooker that instantly gets as hot as the surface of the sun srs.

2. The cooked meat product corpses get squeezed out of the cracks in the sub's hull. Imagine a tube of toothpaste in one of those hydraulic press videos.

At a depth of 12,500 feet, the water above exerts a pressure of approximately 5,100 pounds per square inch (psi), which is equivalent to the weight of about few small cars stacked on a single square inch.

If someone wanted to disappear or start a new life with everyone thinking they were actually dead without needed a body or any physical evidence. This would have to be pretty close to the best way possible to do that.

In short they got deleted in milliseconds brah.

I was wondering what happened to the bodies too. On youtube, Navy/deepsea-background people said it would be like a giant instapot and anything bigger than a microparticle already got eaten by the fishes.
