In Order of best to worst. There is some subjectiveness and objectiveness depending on your character's speed, build, and if you are looking for a specific piece of gear. World events can reset very quickly as well. There is one I farmed for several levels. I would do the event, then run to a seller dungeon that would also have an event. They were right side-by-side. As soon as you enter the cellar, the world resets. As soon as you step into the world, the cellar resets. If others are farming the same, it might not work.

World bosses
Helltides
World events
Dungeons
Tree of whispers
Obols
Quests

There are a few quests that you have to watch out for. They give you very unique items with stats that do not come on any other piece of gear. you want to do these as high level as possible, because the items scale with you. For instance, one of them is a necklace that gives a tremendous amount of health. You can tell that these items are unique because they have a description/backstory written at the bottom of the tooltip screen.

As usual, you can look them up on the database to make sure you are doing them without realizing it.

Best way to level is nightmare dungeons with a max of three levels above you. For gear do helltides, collect the cinders and turn them in at the mysterious chest. Should always shoot for at least two. If you can, shoot for all four mysterious chest.

Checkhttps://helltides.com/for whenever Helltide is up, farm cinders around events and ignore everything besides the mystery chests. Each mystery chest will give you 5-6 sacred legendaries/rares.

Helltides are great for leveling as well, besides that just do whatever, like Tree of Whisper runs, side quests for renown and so on.

Btw pvp areas have better drops and xp than normal ones.

Leave NM dungeons for later on when you can tackle higher ones for more glyph xp.

Secret chest locations for helltides. Labeled with the green dots once it's active. I almost fully geared my new W3 lvl 52 barb with just two of these chests. They spit out 3-4 high power sacred pieces each. Incredible find.

Also, getting a lot of DCs when I port. Getting really obnoxious. Turns out the lag/rubber banding is all server side too. They are having trouble with the player load.

Does ancestral gear not drop in WT3? Or do I just have ass luck in the 20 hours I've been grinding in WT3?

Sacred is T3. Ancestral is T4.

What level are you guys doing the lvl 70 dungeon to go to WT4? I tried it at 61 and was getting **** on pretty good.

I'm not there yet. My highest level is 64. You need to be Uber geared to do cathedral t4 below 70. Not sure it's even possible until 70 due to scaling though.

Servers are getting hammered with volume. Hopefully they will have it fixed soon, because there a lot of complaints about disconnects and lag. Players are losing their level 100s on NM mode and raging over it because of lag. Blizzard knows it's happening.

My issue is not only lag, but I DC frequently when I zone for using the town portal.

Just started playing this game, watched a beginners guide wtf. I thought Elden ring was complicated this game is 10 times more layered.

Rings, potions, imprinting ect…. Should I even upgrade my weapons and armor or just wait out to get better stuff later on

You’ll be upgrading frequently up to about 50-60. Below those levels I was upgrading each piece 2-3 times out of the possible 5 due to being so low on crafting materials. Afterwards as you acquire more, you can max it out at 5.

fak im getting destroyed now at 51. Im currently on the minion/corpse explode build but my dmg is pathetic for the most part. Im dying 2-3 times every dungeon and some are uncompleteable. Do I just grind like this til I get better equipment? helltides are impossible as well..

Could be your build, what exactly are you running? Content should be a bit more difficult but absolutely completeable. I've been running a shadowblight summoner build since 30 or so (55 rn) and stuff just melts away.

I didn't run my golem which seems to be a big blunder, when I get on later ill move a little around to run it. WTF am I main attacking with tho? They have videos of everything melting and it just isnt happening for me. Got a link for your build?

Yeah you're going to need the golem, but that build looks weird to me anyway. Corpse explosion build but no Fueled by Death, also wtf Transfusion and Gruesome Mending.

This is my current build:

Based on this with some tweaks, mainly dropped Army for Decrepify.

- Golem
- Raise Skeleton
- Decrepify
- Blight
- Corpse Explosion
- Blood Mist (oh schit button that also craps out corpses)

No essence generator needed since only Blight needs essence and you'll be popping corpses which generates the resource.

Minions are:

- Skeletal reapers with 2nd skill, 15% chance to generate corpses
- Skeletal mages, currently using shadow mages with the 2nd skill, extra shadow bolts, although this can be switched around for cold or whatever, got a leggo with an aspect that makes cold mages fire off blizzards
- Iron Golem with the second skill (slam that stuns and makes enemies vulnerable), earlier tried the Blood Golem with the skill to generate corpses whenever it loses a percentage of its health, but it was much worse

Gameplay is:

- Decrepifying whatever pops up
- tossing out a couple of Blight puddles under enemies
- send in the golem for a slam that stuns and makes them vulnerable
- and start exploding corpses the moment one pops up, which should be a couple seconds in since either something keels over from the golem or your skellies generate one. From then on it's basically game over for the mobs

Or you can just explode whatever corpse you see on the screen for similar results.

so ive got two extremely good item things relating to Blood wave, one being its 3 waves, 2nd amplifies its affects/dmg by like 40%. Are there any builds around blood wave? Im going to try your build tonight. But this game has got me hooked for a while I feel like. I also just started messing with taking item specials and putting on other items. As long as I don't do mass reading on the top % of what to do, itll keep me playing for a while.

You do helltides? what level did you start actually being able to function on them?

There is a decent build with blood wave. If you have some legendary effects for a blood build, you can give it a shot. It's not super powerful, but it boosts survivability and is definitely viable.

The endgame build for Necro is extremely powerful, but it requires two unique items that might take you a little bit to farm. Without them, you're better off with something like a bone spear build. Necromancers are just very squishy, and the end game build that makes them so powerful, requires the two unique items, but then you become virtually invincible.

Bone spear is very "bursty", but it requires combo set ups. I'm not a fan because without the combo, the damage is kind of lackluster.

Everyone is leveling their a rogue, because the damage output is insane from level one all the way to 100, but in the end game, they are very squishy. It's not uncommon to get one shot often is a rogue.

Barbarian and Druid are really great end game, but their leveling process is grueling until about level 30-40.

Just keep playing, as blizzard will make adjustments and improve builds. For instance, they will be buffing minions because they aren't good atm. They did make one improvement so far, so they are a little better, but I think there will be more adjustments to come. For instance, there is no paragon and the legendaries just don't give them the boost they need, especially when compared to other options.

Yeah. I feel like the process from 50-60 is going to be pretty rough, but once I figure out what works and when/how to do it, itll be gravy. Leveling slowed down considerably tho lol. Was getting like 5-6 levels a day, down to maybe one.

Zero issues with helltides and the rest of WT3 the moment I’ve downed the Curator and things have only improved since then.

Only time skellingtons die is if a fire enchanted ph4g blows up in their face when it keels over. And the only times I’ve managed to die was when I alt tabbed during helltide and got clapped by a meteor or when I’ve walked into one of my poo puddles and got blown up by some crap as the mobs kept dying. Otherwise It’s smooth sailing, slapped the Butcher yesterday, no biggie.

Got lucky very early on with a 1,5k dps scythe and more recently a Howl From Below.

There is a skill that prevents your minions from taking 50/75% damage in a single hit. Do you have that one? Not sure if you have the spare points for that or if you already have it, but it might help.

Level 62 on my barb and almost finished my HotA build. The Blood Chieftain's aspect took forever to find. 3,500 obols, 12 mystery chests, 5 ring chests, and 6 NM dungeons, and that's not counting the entire leveling process and random dungeons I ran. Looks like it's one of the most rare aspects in the game, likely because of how powerful that 1-1.8 second CD really is. Hopefully I have enough CD stats to pull this off. Good thing is that I can switch to WW build using all but the weapons, and I even got the unique gloves for it, which makes me want to switch now to try it out. The bad news is, it rolled the min aspect affect, so not sure it's worth it

.I have it maxed so they can never take a hit above 30% of their max health.

Thing is that the fire enchanted explosion/deathblow doesn’t count as one hit. There’s an explosion and iirc 3 missiles get launched and since the skellies are standing at ground zero they get blown up because the game registers them as taking ALL of the individual hits even if the missiles would miss.

Same thing happens to players, people have been complaining that even if they would have avoided the ground missiles, if they’re standing at/close to the circle when they blow, they get deleted even with absurd amounts of health/armor and damage reduction.

It’s a minor annoyance really since those mobs are the last to die anyway and there are plenty of corpses to replenish the numbers.

Ummm...I just logged into my character and 3 legendary pieces of gear I had equipped are now gone and randomly replaced with yellow garbage that I never equipped. 100% srs wtf is this?
