Promoting a bad actor discredits this guy in my book, I don't know anything about him, he looks like a political activist type, but I hate to judge on looks, but then off the gate he says something demonstrably idiotic that reinforces this notion he himself is not someone to be listened to.

Who is this guy in the video again and why should I listen to anything else he says when he's shown he is unreliable?

Edit: I went to his channel... all the videos are "masks work", "insane lab leak theories", "vaccines are better than natural immunity", etc...

And none of this makes RFK Jr right or wrong, either - but I don't see how someone demonstrably smart-talking and wrong like this is a source I care about, either.
Thats been the trend through this whole thing. Theres been absolutely no attempt to have an open an honest discussion to convince the public of anything. When we find out pfizer has direct links to the cdc, that whistleblowers have exposed that their safety studies were fake, that pfized wont distribute without absolute legal immunity, theres no effort at all to reason with anyone that has concerns. Its just low iq cultist othering like we see from opie as he dreams of marching anyone that doesnt get a weekly booster into a gulag.

Theres nothing to do really except smile and nod and quietly gas up the helicopters.

I continue to find it interesting that people expected more from covid vaccines than any other vaccine.

Thats quite silly. What other vaccine is administered with total legal immunity after 'warp speed' approval?

Did we change the definition of vaccine for any other vaccine?

Can I even ask these questions without some communist writting them off as science hating antivaxxxxxism?

Well that's the thing, the concern over the definition update seem to be held by those who didn't or don't know what vaccines are or do.

When people say they aren't anti vaccine, just anti covid vaccine, then explain why, it doesn't hold up.

I don't understand those who are opposed to vaccines, but I can at least respect it as a position when its recognized and owned by the holder.

THE most horrific black plague zombie apocalypse virus of DOOM in the history of the world bro. Shut down our economy, jobs lost, schools shut down, people were quarantined, and on, and on..

So yeah, the vaccine that was gonna save us all from it was held to a higher standard. Especially considering how all you Ronaholic fux acted over the ones who didn't take it.

Why source this person? It's like if I linked SkyLinerd, okay, him being wrong countless times in the past does not necessarily mean whatever he's currently saying is also wrong -- but he's shown himself to be a bad source and someone anyone reasonable should not be listening to.

This "I AM A SCIENSTIST" tshirt guy is not someone to be heard, either. This is not an endorsement of RFK, vaccine theories or anything, I'm like you in that I see all the smoke and mirrors, but at the same time - smoke and mirrors doesn't prove anything demonstrably, either.

We do know pfizer and the others have been dishonest. We do know they've misrepresented or lied about studies. We do know they have influence, if not outright control, over the CDC and MSM. On and on and on -- but to me, this in and of itself only tells me to be skeptical, it also proves nothing.

Ultimately, I am agnostic about this. I have my thoughts, and I do for-certain know *some* of the anti-vaccine theories were ludicrous and have been shown to been wrong. I also know on the pro-vaccine side of things, there are shills and dishonest actors. All of that tells me to be careful jumping to any strong conclusion here.

IMO, the vaccines are poorly tested, did not perform as they were told and for many younger and healthy people they were not necessary. I also know that people are not dropping dead by the millions, as was predicted, by the more extreme people on the other side of this.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

We should try reeducation camps aka schools and try to teach them basic immunology.
You've got this homebound incel loser literally calling for antivaxxer concentration camps, but you're whining because your sacred Faci Fluid is held to a higher standard.

Well, no. I'm not whining. I'm just pointing out that much of the anger we see regarding vaccines seems to stem from ignorance.

Are you saying that in asia where the TB vaccine is mandatory if they stopped vaccinating we'd see the same approximare rates of TB infection, just with more severe symptoms

And its the same for all vaccines, and always has been

I've been saying that vaccines have only ever conferred acquired immunity.

In 1986, Congress passed a law that protects vaccine manufacturers from being sued in civil personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits resulting from vaccine injuries, so that's not new either.

The camps would be for all antivaxxers, not just covid. And they wouldn't be extermination camps (That would be at a different location!). You would receive valuable education and training in immunology.

Not little to no protection. It's just...not great. Around 40 to 80% effective but that was for older strains. It prepares your immune system so when you do get the virus, it won't be as bad.

I'm sorry, but we were told that the vaccine would stop the spread, as was the case with previous vaccines. Now we are being told that it not only won't stop the spread, it won't slow down the spread, and it won't prevent infection. All it will do is lessen the effects of the disease, which I am unaware of being the case for any other vaccine, ever. I believe the term for treatments like that was therapeutic rather than vaccine.

The law passed in 1986 still has a mechanism for people with adverse reactions to file a claim, it is just through a federal claims system rather than taking the manufacturer directly to court. Pfizer, Moderna etc find even that too much of a risk to distribute. They are given a total legal immunity that exceeds even the 1986 law.

And more to my point, which you are either unwilling or unable to address, we have seen nothing but bullying towards anyone that finds any of this concern. Opie is comfortable calling for concertation camps because other prominent communists have called for the same, if not worse (some call for execution of people unwilling to be vaccinated) with no repercussions. We have seen legal actions against doctors that file adverse claims with VAERS, a social mobbing which I referred to as cultist othering against anyone that simply asks questions, deplatforming, etc; and as I understand it, it's even worse in your country.

People have a fundamental human right to decide what is placed in their bodies. Openly and happily deriding and violating that notion is the source of most of this contention. Personally I don't care if the vaccine works or not, I have natural immunity. But when you lie about what the vaccine is, and what the vaccine does, and then resort to bullying towards anyone that finds this problematic, that's not how an intellectually honest society operates. Give people the info, correct any errors in their understanding as you are doing here, and then respect their decision if even after informing them they make a choice other than the one you think they should. That shouldn't be so much to ask and if you agree with me on that, you should be as opposed to these things as I am.

We are we seeing more deaths post vaccine rollout? If the vaccine is safe & effective, shouldn’t we being seeing less deaths?

It's similar, people seem to think vaccines have never been required before covid.

I dunno what to tell you man. Read the definition of acquired immunity that you posted.

It's not about an individual acquiring immunity, it's about developing acquired immunity (antibodies and t-cells).

Covid gets me at minimum 5 days off mandatory without using my sick time. Using my sick time I am still obligated to finish certain aspects of my job - that goes away with a positive covid test.

I have never had the quality of sleep I get when I had covid, which is why I intentionally hung out with someone that had it the second time

That shouldn't be so much to ask and if you agree with me on that, you should be as opposed to these things as I am.
When did I lie about what a vaccine is and what vaccines can do?

Who did I bully?

The vaccine does not provide immunity, & so far I’m seeing the costs clearly outweigh the benefits. Everyone I know that has had the vaccine continues to get sick, some have died. My close friends, wife, myself have not taken the vaccine & have not been sick since first infected (2020). Pretty sure wife & I got Covid December of 2019, it was pretty bad the first couple days but I loaded up on C, Zinc, echinacea, goldenseal, & some other stuff & was over it in about 4 days. Bright light was bothersome for maybe 2 weeks, & taste took about the same to come back.
I work with a lot of elderly & most all took the jab, they all regret it, & they are all continuously sick.

Vaccines confer acquired immunity.

Does the shingles vaccine you received provide what you call "definitive immunity"?
