I was drunk and on codeine when I saw the second one in d-box seats and it was great. The third I was in regular seats and sober and didn't like it. Didn't see the others.

In the most recent movie he killed like 30 people all with guns shooting at him, while doing doughnuts in a car circling them repeatedly. I busted out laughing.


He's the god damn boogeyman.


Movie 1 and 2 were entertaining, but 3 and 4 it just got old and more and more comically insane.

The first movie was semi-grounded and good.

There on out they basically made him immortal and it kind of ruined it IMO.

Was alright to turn the brain off and watch some action, but being able to be hit at high speeds by multiple cars and keep going ruined it for me.

John wick 1 and 2 were good

3 was ok

4 was straight up bad


They get more comical with each movie. Less and less grounded in reality and more and more becoming a comic book universe.

John Wick makes no sense in a way i would never think this is like reality. It iss clearly phantasy in a phantasy world with a fantasy superhero.

There is no chance a good trained person with a gun is able to kill 450 of the other best trained gunmans and survives them all. Its not even a 1vs 1 they usally all group up on him and he still manages to win.

Imagine the enemies in the movie would tactially try to outmanover him the film would end quite quickly.

I loved the first one, barely made it through the second one but it started going way overboard. Tried watching the third one and thought it was ass. The scenes with 110lbs Halle Berry dominating a bunch of soldiers while telepathically sending the dogs out to do highly choreographed stunts was so stupid, I checked out completely.

Didn't bother with the 4th, franchise has become the Fast and Furious gun edition.

Well sort of... You ever play paintball with a good speed baller? 6 v 1 and you are all going down. So if I just assume he is the best of the best it is not too far fetched to have him win small surprise attacks against multiple people.

The issue is that instead of being condensed surprise attacks like in the first movie he started hanging out in big open areas where the first person with a Rifle would finish him.

Struggling to work out what is going on-the guy out of Robson & Jerome shot her dog, so she decided to shoot him & with Wick & the dogs help kill about 500 geeks-but the dog wasn't injured or dead. Are those things around them bullet proof vests for dogs? Love the way one dog scaled the wall with nothing to grip onto, to bite the guys nuts.

Would it have any effect? I used to think how great it would be to have films where the hero just no-sold everything thrown at him & killed everybody. Then I saw these & it isn't that great in reality. Why is he even bothering to hide away from the high table, when he just slaughters the thousands of assassins they send for him anyway?
