Have you looked into the prices of anything you're mentioning?

If someone's house looks like that, they cannot afford heated floors.

my children eat 1 pack of organic chicken breasts. 2 packs of organic ground beef a week. they are getting 2X the protein than daily recommended. their grocery bill is 30 bucks a week.

Out of curiosity I was cheking out double wide home floor plans and they're absolutley livable with dignity, I've designed luxury apartments smaller than them btw.

I would put some nice stucco plaster inside and some nice limestone or hardwood flooring, paired with nice furniture you could get a ver warm and classy feel. quality food doesn't have to be expensive. Activities are cheap as hell. When I was a kid I had this thing called outside...and sports ($25 to sign up for recreation team baseball/basketball), video games, parks, friends, etc.

What's wrong with McDonalds as long as your kid isn't eating half the menu and never moving around?

You're trying to read "internet advice" and apply it to actually raising a child.

Of course heated floors are expensive that was on the higher end of the spectrum. Simple insulation on the lower part of the floor would be more than enough. If you live on a cold weather you could simply close down the vertical space on the sublevel and you would avoid any drafts and energy loss. Its a small area plus its lifted so you can work easily down there, also great for easily running piping or wiring down there.

LOL at people that live in swanky apartments thinking they are better than the people living in bigger single/doublewides on their own land with privacy. I'll take a nice mobile home any day over apartment living like these yuppies do crammed into little boxes stacked on boxes.

Virtually everyone I ever knew growing up survived just fine. I don't know too many that are now complaining that going to McDonalds fooked up their life.

tbh I have never been into one. But looking at floorplans and pictures i do think they have lots of potential. Low quality finishes and fictures can be replaced like in any other space .

A house is a house at the end of the day...is it in a relatively safe location, does it keep the rain out, does it keep you cool and warm, does it fit your stuff...can you shower and take a shyt? Heck I think some of these 500 saw ft tiny homes are cool.

I bought a $27k double wide that I put $10k into and flipped...nearly 10 years later the people livin in it still have a home functioning as a home.

A house isn't just a house. The yearly maintenance on my main house is half of that $20k yearly budget.
