RFK looking like a better candidate every day (srs)

I've been looking into him more since his podcast on JRE, and this guy is probably the most reasonable person to vote for in 2024. He seems separated from the mainstream circus of dems vs repubs and the chit slinging on social media and MSM. Has middle ground views that make decent compromises on important issues like abortion and 2A rights (he actually wants to look at mental health instead of just blaming guns). RFK's border policy and foreign policies are sound.

If this guy can go the distance and make it to the general election, I just might vote for him over Trump and/or DeSantis.

JMO, I'm staunchly pro-life, I generally will not associate with people that are ok with killing babies, but I understand that you have to take the good with the bad, RFK is pro-choice up to a point, and I'll take that with how stable he is with his other policies.

It's a disease called Spasmodic dysphonia. it's a chronic neurological voice disorder and a focal laryngeal dystonia. If he was smart, as soon as the DNC committed to Biden, he should've ran as an independent.

What would he accomplish by running as an independent? He’s much better served by trying to win as a Democrat and if he loses he can at least shine a light on how far off the rails they’ve gone with regards to serving corporations over citizens and being absolutely insane with social issues now.

Running as an independent isn't viable for most people. The reason people run as Democrat, Republican, Green Party, Libertarian etc. is that the party has donor lists and infrastructure to help with fundraising, outreach, and staffing etc. The parties get a campaign rolling, in other words

Independent campaigns are for people like Michael Bloomberg and Ross Perot, who can self-finance

But that's stupid. You can't win as a Dem if the party isn't supporting you.

Look at Sinema, she was on the verge of getting primaried and easily getting tossed out. Now that she switched to independent, she has a good shot of keeping her seat.

Because nobody wants Trump or Biden, RFK is probably the best positioned to actually be the first 3rd party candidate to win the presidency, but he's choking.

Biden is not going to be the nominee. It's likely Newsome being pushed very soon, but frankly RFK "could" beat Newsome.

I don't know why anyone, including his family, is okay with Biden running again. The simple fact he could easily drop dead in office is enough.

The upper age limit on President of the US should be 70 at the most.

No, he can’t win the presidency as an independent. And running as an independent only solidifies the view that the Democratic Party is off the rails and will run over anyone who opposes them. Or he can debate other candidates on the democratic side(if they actually allow debates) and steer conversations to help his party become better.

He seems intelligent and well spoken with a good demeanor...his voice is not at all his fault and you get used to it. I don't understand how he maintains his position on some things like autism and vaccination, though...that just isn't supported in studies. Nobody is perfect, but that is a pretty bad sign.

He is very pro environment. Idk about many of his positions, though. He's getting some media coverage like on the SIRIUSXM POTUS channel, but not a whole lot. I think he's written off as a CT guy and honestly that's a big problem for him.

The dnc also doesn't entertain challengers, and unless something new happens idk how he's going to get across the finish line.

It would be good to know more about him but I don't know if that is going to happen. Probably not, I think.

He's a huge advocator of socialist programs such as welfare and other forms of giving free money to lazy poor people. Probably his only real flaw in his beliefs. (Super Ded fkn Srs)
