The fact that Ukraine is a backwards, corrupt, banana republic is not a justification for Russia to invade a sovereign state. Russia is still at fault for the war.

What about the fact they officially praise nazi collaborators as heroes, are reforming education to indoctrinate people against Russia, and have hundreds of thousands of neonazi forces along with literal hitler youth nazi training camps? Ukrainian nationalism is literally the most toxic chit.

As far as indoctrination, so what? Russia invaded the country and destroyed their cities and slaughtered their citizens. I think the hatred is justified, to be honest. If they aren't committing war crimes against Russia like Russia is against them, then it's a red herring in your argument.

Russia isn't naming streets after nazis or integrating nazi paramilitary orgs into their military and pinning medals on their chests.

Who started the violence? Nazis burned people alive in Odessa and had tiki torch protests praising Bandera and Shukhevych. They creeped the Crimeans out. Ukraine insisted the people of Donbass speak Ukrainian in public over Russian. Their society became increasingly intolerant of Russian heritage. Statues of Lenin were destroyed. Streets were renamed. Nazi collaborators were celebrated. The curriculum was changed. The Ukrainian right wing pushed for 2 decades of reforms to become increasingly hostile to Russia.

But they did commit warcrimes. And they murdered their own people. Nazi "volunteers" went to Donbass and killed their own fellow citizens. How can you expect Ukraine to have any statehood when they are run by such intolerant monsters? It is not a democracy. It's a farce. Zelensky was elected to bring peace, but when the time came, the far right threatened to murder him and viewed peace as capitulation. So he reneged on his promises.

These NaTiOnAlIsTs wear nazi imagery, do the hitler salute, wear death's head balaclavas, glorify war, and bitterly hate communism and Russian history. They hate Russians and joke about massacring them all. All this chit came out of Lviv, and they never renounced their collaboration with nazis.
