What things you buy are REALLY work it?

What do people buy that's just really really worth it?

Expensive electronics? Ehh, we all spend too much time in front of screens nowadays.

Expensive vacations? Are these for stressed people that need to escape the rat race for a while?

Expensive clothes? Ehh, who ya trying to impress? Most all of them are made in China.

Expensive food? Ehh, it's very rare that I've ate an expensive meal and thought "this was totally worth it"

An expensive wife/gf? If a woman can love you simply for being you, is she worth it?

Expensive cars? Ehh, a nice Honda or Toyota does me fine.

A huge house? Ehh, a house is just somewhere to live for me as long as it's safe.

So what is just really, really, really worth paying a lot of money for?

ok...maybe i am...but that doesn't answer the question.

What things worth buying should compel me to not be a minimalist brokie?

Quality, organic, non-GMO foods. Pasture raised meats and products. Independent farmer grown vegetables, fruits, etc.

Buying highest quality in almost everything will fare far better in the long run.

I’m willing to pay a premium price for solid products, but nothing I’d say is really expensive.

I.e.
I’ll pay for mid-top shelf liquors because bottom shelf are chit quality
I own a Lexus because of their reliability, comfort, handling
Some of my clothes are from banana republic, etc because they’re higher quality (I want them to fit well, look good, and last)
But I’m not gonna spend 100x the price on something like thousand dollar+ liquors, sports cars, or gucci

Just don’t make a big deal out of it. No one knows where I get my clothes; I don’t buy anything with large branding. BR makes some solid pants and business-casual clothes

Being "worth it" is subjective; hence my buying itmakesit worth it, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Every two wheeled machine I've ever bought/rented has been 100% worth the price. I've never gotten off a bike of ANY kind (motorized or not) and thought, "meh"

You can literally say those things about anything of excess. It's excess for a reason.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

i'll be honest...for the last 10 years i've used the $400 honda mower...a black and decker electric trimmer that was about $120 and a $160ish on sale echo blower....does a beautiful job on the two yards i do and occasional rental.
