My logic is that I am invisible, no one can see me, and I select my path accordingly. Lane filtering on a road bike seems like a recipe for disaster.... On motorcycles it works because you accelerate away from the front of the line - but on a bicycle you're just encumbering traffic.
The exception would be gridlocked traffic, like they have constantly in socal. I just rip between cars all day in that scenario. We don't have dead stopped gridlock in Phoenix, though.

Rode Vail Vortex to Fairy Tree, and other trails today with the Old Pueblo group in Tucson. 15 mile loop, weather wasn't bad at all. All blue trails, but very flowy.
Lots of tall cottonwood trees and shade, quite the oasis in the desert.

I'm about to do a 30ish mile ride soon here. Just waiting until it begins cooling down a little bit.

Been riding a steady/solid amount, nothing WILD. Loving these sunrise rides.

I leave the intersection when the coast is clear - The majority of the time, I am a quarter mile down the road before they get moving.
In my experience traffic treats you very differently based on your speed. When I was <20mph avg I was ‘in the way’ and people would right hook me all of the time and honk / get frustrated passing me. Now that I average >20 mph and sprint out of stops people are a lot more respectful.

Rode the 24Hour Trail in the Old Pueblo (24IHOP) with the Old Pueblo MTB group last Sunday.
Last time I did this ride was during the 24hour race event hosted by Epic Rides Last February. Rode 7 laps (16 miles per lap). At the start of the 6th lap, I broke my collarbone and a level 3 sprained thumb (30 miles ridden with a broken collarbone).

2nd time I broke the same collarbone. You can see the old bone growth from the first break.

The first time I broke my collarbone, it was landing on the back of my left shoulder (scapula) extremely hard. That healed nicely, and had full motion after 3 months.
This time, I was bucked, went over the bars at extremely high speed. Natural reaction was extended my hand to catch myself so I don't faceplant. My arm pushed into my shoulder breaking the collarbone.
Anyway, they say a type two slap tear is usually career ending for pitchers as they can no longer throw a ball. Surgery is the only fix, and it's still a long recovery time. Surgery itself is minor.
Again, this is all speculation on my part.

I almost signed up for the Prescott EPIC ride, but again.... Just not for me. Now they have the one coming up in OCT in Pine.

I need to swap my MTB back to single speed; when I have it set up with gears I just don't want to ride it as much.
McDowell/Browns has some of the best easy green flow trails on earth. I love it out there. Hardtail heaven.

It was fun though, but I wish the finish line was better marked. I blew right past it, and had to turn around.
I've always wanted to ride Brown's Trail. Haven't been, but I heard it's flowly and scenic.
Here's my ride at the Tour of the White Mountains last year.

Could be a lot of things.
Are you a MLB pitcher?
You are throwing a lot of stuff around (no pun intended) where you have no information: a) no test results b) you haven't seen a Dr c) you have no medical training.
just go to a Dr

Basically:
Like I said, it's only a theory I have. I've broken my collarbone before, and healed just fine. This time, I broke it by extending my left arm forward. Hurts when I do an external rotation, as if I was pitching a baseball, throwing a stone, etc.

I am liking what Trek is doing now with their paint jobs. I'm into high end aluminum frames and upgrading them. I have a CAAD12 and an Allez Sprint. This is great for someone looking for an entry level road bike

Got there a little late, just before 7pm.
Finished it after dark, and didn't bring my lights. Ugh. Still, riding is better than not riding.
Since no one wanted to join me, no action shots. Just a AZ sunset on top of Mormon Trail.

Tortalita Preserve Trail out in Marana, AZ.
It's a green trail, nothing exciting, but it has its flowy sections. No exciting pics.
Out riding with a group about 20 of us.
