It is an old saying, diversity is our strength. In the past to me our diversity in our culture worked decently well. there were problems but overall it worked and was a positive with society.

Today I'm not as certain that diversity is our strength. Politically blue politicians are forming their party message and politics around race and skin color. Merit, the quality of a person regardless of skin color, doesn't mean much to a blue politician these days.

Our GDP per capita increased faster when we became multi ethnic FYI. The USSR was multiethnic from the start. China is multiethnic even though the west likes to pretend they are all one ethnicity. diversity is good. look at our ecosystem, it exists because it is diverse.
diversity amongst humans are also good because diversity allows the greater chance of new ideas of being discussed.
