While this is pretty average income for anybody with a college degree nowadays, I'm still miring. Because I haven't earned anything this year.

Yeah in sales. 40k base + uncapped commission. Only 5 months into it but I think I’ll hit 100k my first year if not more.

Lol, this is well above average what most College degrees make. Even if you're talking gross income, that's still above $100k for a college graduate.

what did you do with it?
Paid bills, saved the rest. Got 16k in stock account, 7k in the bank, 1k emergency cash. Thinking about buying a Camaro later this year though… probably only when I can put atleast 50% down without touching the money in my stock account.

I know we all have different ideas of the value of money based on our own experiences, I assume he is just working off of personal anecdote, which is normal.

Statistically though, you are above average.

If that matters, the comparison does not matter to me, but I am glad you are in a position to give yourself a decent standard of living. That is really the only thing I think is important.
