Supreme Court knocks down loan forgiveness. But they employ a BS rationale to do so.

You could in theory confiscate the degree and strip the person of their credentials, but WTF benefit does that provide to anyone? You don't get the money back since it's already been invested in educating the person, and now all you've done is make them even less employable.

Is time tangible? Is a service tangible?
Your logic is straight retarded.
That said, the purpose of an investment is to make a profit. Does basketweaving, racial and gender studies etc have a good return? Should everyone that loses money on the stock market get paid back?

Also, you can't just "return" it three months later, and you can't sell back a car that you haven't even paid off.
I've talked to people who work at dealerships, and when these mopes leave it at the dealership, because, "They don't want it no mo." It stays in the lot till the repo guys come and get it.

Take put a loan, pay it back, really that simple.
And since you leftists are so "bigly" educated, and so "bigly" wealthy, they should have no problem paying it back.

You can sell the car and use the money to pay off the loan in that case.

But education or your knowledge/skills aren't exactly a tangible asset. At least with a house or car or you can sell it and recoup a significant amount of the cost that way (and LOL at the plebs attacking me for that, as if it's either a perfect solution or nothing).
Revoking the degree is indeed pointless. And revoking the degree is only ethical or warranted if someone offends in a way that was relevant to actually earning that degree (like severe academic misconduct). And even then, that still doesn't solve anything because revoking a degree can often turn litigious and ugly and no one wins.
All you've done there is make someone even less employable.

Then it sounds like your problem is with the university, and not where you got the money to pay them. The loan has to be paid regardless.

How do you not know this?
As for your house, it can increase in value, or decrease in value. And what happens if stop paying your mortgage? It goes into foreclosure.
You take out a loan, you pay it back.

Much of what has led to the rising student loan debt is because the colleges took advantage of the student loan program's veritable blank check to raise costs knowing they would get paid regardless, but they continue to face next to zero scrutiny or accountability. They just continue to get bloated off the rising tuition rates, fluff up their requirements with high school 2.0 courses, and steering students towards degrees with little or even negative return on investment.
So by all means, if they feel so strongly then they should be lining up in front of the grifters who only perpetuate the nation's ongoing intellectual decline, not asking for everyone else to suffer for them.
They're so blinded by their own selfish needs that they don't understand how forgivingtheirloans without addressing the root causes will only serve to ensure that the same mess rises again for the next round of students, who will then ask fortheirloans to be forgiven as well. Except their debt will be even larger because the colleges and universities would have gotten away with the biggest con of all by not only being handed a blank check the first time, but given the go ahead to raise tuition even more knowing that whatever they charge will once again be wiped clean. And who's going to pay for that? This round of myopic gender studies baristas who thought they got off free from their own debt.
I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
My dark grave awaits, my fate is revealed - But I'm not afraid to die

Arguably the biggest problem with student loan bailouts is the moral hazard. After being incentivized, yearly college costs will simply rise even faster.

Technology makes things cheaper over time. Somehow with people often taking classes entirely online and other technology that should make college education cheaper it has risen so much more than general inflation rate since 1980. And that doesn't even consider how much money many colleges make off of their sports, which could offset tuition and fees.
INB4 single payer college education is floated.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

Then it sounds like your problem is with the university, and not where you got the money to pay them. The loan has to be paid regardless.
And this coprophiliac fruit has me on ignore, so can somebody quote me so it'll see it?
