LA Knight is a strong favorite to win the men's MITB briefcase...but I am not counting out Logal Paul yet...

Seth Rollins must retain the World Heavyweight title...

Cody Rhodes will beat Dominick Mysterio to make him look strong for his final encounter with Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.

And the Bloodline Civil War tag team match...maybe Solo turns on Roman and they setup 1 vs. 1 for the world title later on and end the Bloodline saga.

And I am not interested in women's matches as always.

Quick Takes:
- Most of the in-ring was fairly decent. Some “oh women lol” moments though of course with botches and head scratchers. Also that girl announcer saying Bayley represented Judgement Day.
- Speaking of women—interesting they went with a less talent version of Asuka to win the MITB. Maybe they’ll eventually have them face to decide who the supreme token Asian female is on the roster?
- Priest being the least over member of judgement day made it feel lackluster winning MITB. By the way he is older than LA Knight
- Waller had to carry Cena on the stick after Cena’s cheap pop promo tonguing London’s a-hole. Some things never change.
- Michael Cole and whoever was in his ear (Bruce?) had so many fuk ups with delivery and stating historical events that are just not true. Rey never founded the original LWO. Eddie did. I think they could move on from Cole and not miss a beat. He’s not a part of the fabric like good wrestling commentator are

Roman's the top monster heel. WWE fans have been spending a fortune wanting to see him get beat. Sounds to me like he's doing his job.

every metric points to Roman's heel run being a massive success and the Bloodline story being one of the greatest ever told by pro wrestling. The only guys who can't seem to just enjoy it are the IWC. you're denying yourself some actual quality television, and unfortunately it seems to be wrapping up by next WM.

I'll concede that the last ~6 months of the bloodline storyline have been compelling. I still can't get over the fact that they wasted 2.5 YEARS on complete garbage PPVs and television to get there.

If they wrap this up in some compelling way by next WM, I'll give them all the credit for at least finishing strong. But all the history here makes me believe they are going to fly right by the exit ramp, blow the hot hand with this story, and have more Roman vs Goldberg caliber garbage coming out of next year.

How is Roman doing his job? By remembering all his lines? My problem isn't so much the storyline as it is Roman never got over organically on his own merit. Fans are reacting because its what WWE forced down our throats the last 3 years. As someone who is supposed to be the top guy in the company, its a tough pill to swallow considering the fact he still can't cut a promo and his delivery is off.

Cena may have been shoved down our throats, but at least he was over on his own. For christ sake, bottom of the barrel mid-carders Chad and Otis are more over than Roman AND they did it on their own.

Please name one wrestler who Roman can out duel on the mic.

The Bloodline storyline may go down as one of the best ever, but not because of Roman. Just lots of help from Jimmy, Jay, Sammy and Heyman. Roman just happened to be plug-and-play that Vince used to fit that spot. He was the so-called chosen one and they weren't going to back out of it.

if you look at the last 3 years of Reigns' career and still say stuff like this, debating you is probably a waste of my time. you sound like you made your mind up years ago that he stinks, probably during the 'Big Dog' era. I thought his act sucked back then too but I recognize how natural he is as the Tribal Chief boss heel. he's been perfect in that role and the company has boomed around him during that time period. to say he gets no credit for that is just being stubborn.

Bloodline angle has covered a lot of time and earned a lot of praise, and that’s great. The Heyman factor was really the key element in finally getting Roman greater acclaim.

Curious what comes on the other end. Does anyone seriously think the end game will propel Jey Uso into a main event singles career? Is Silent Sikoa going to breakthrough? This whole thing has been able to change opinion on Roman, but it doesn’t feel like it will dramatically change the fortunes of many others in the grand scheme. Isn’t that what every good angle/faction should do? The most forefront candidate over the entire thing was neutered of their character and saddled with a tag team belt with a fat loser Canadian with a dad bod who can’t be taken seriously.

He's not truly over

You've still got him being shoved down everyones throat, he's terrible on the mic, he's an average worker at best and crowd reactions still get piped

He was always going to be the big guy that this era was built around, it's just the writers had to force feed him down the fans throats and even then it's still an effort to make it look convincing

So you can’t name one wrestler who Roman can go toe to toe with on the mic and win? I don’t hate Roman. In my opinion he’s overrated fluff. His best work was the mute enforcer of the Shield.

Yes, it does diminish you. While he's no where close to the Rock, he's not even close to the best on the current rosters of any brand including NXT. In fact his mic skills are on the same tier as Bayley, Becky and Rhonda.

On a scale of 1-10 on the mic, Roman is a 3, maybe 4 at best. By your standards, as long as he doesn't embarrass himself, he's doing fine. Mediocrity on the mic for someone who is supposed to be the top guy in the company is a disgrace.

When was the last time Roman cut a 5 minute promo on his own, nevermind a few minute promo that kept you intrigued wanting more? Other than the "acknowledge me" catch phrase, the writers only feed him a few lines, peppered in with long pauses making it nearly impossible to screw up.

If the Rock is your measuring stick, everyone except maybe CM Punk and MJF fall well short in the current wrestling landscape.

Not everyone has to cut long, loquacious promos. His character is essentially a mob boss. Mob bosses don’t need to say a lot because they’re the man—and when they do speak everyone listens. He plays the character well.
