What’s up with houses
Is this chit gonna crash or what? To buy a decent house in a part of my city I’d want to live in, it’s $1.5m. This isn’t a mansion and I’m in Texas.
So who is buying this chit? I make ~$200k with no wife or kids, and I’d still be spreading myself thin on that mortgage. If income statistics are to be believed, I make more than 95% of Americans.
Are people just eating ramen and not taking vacations to barely afford a house and always be a couple bad months from ruin or what?

But I’m not sure the financial gain justifies just fuking one girl forever or the overall loss of freedom. Not hating on brahs it makes sense for, just not a good fit with my disposition

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I like the way I look, you think I'm ugly, I think I look good. These are subjective. What's not subjective is your financial situation. Lol.

But seriously, something is wrong with this picture. So called financial experts say your housing expenses shouldn’t exceed 28% of your income. The median household is like $70k. For $1600/mo you can finance what, a shack in Kansas?

I don't think chit is crashing - if anything, it is back on the rise after a small dip.
My guess is big daddy gov is going to come in and offer incentives etc. Just don't see any other way this is sustainable.
We put an offer on a relatively modest home. With inflated home prices and high interest rates, and after a full 20% down payment, monthly mortgage would be $4k (that includes taxes, insurance etc). Remember back when youmade itif you are making $100K? With a $100k income, you would have about $2k left over (assuming you don't contribute a significant amount to your 401k) each month after paying your mortgage. With kids and family, $2k does not get you far at all. You will be scraping buy and not adding anything to savings.
Somethings got to give.
