For one, I didn't know any government cancelled Bud Light, could you please enlighten us.

But:
1: Bud Light makes an unpopular ad campaign with their core customers.
2. Customers voice dissatisfaction as one may expect
3. Bud Light doubles down and tells existing customer base to stop buying their product.
4. Main customer base response by honoring their request.

Why would you continue to spend money on a product that the maker doesn't want you to buy? What's so hard to understand about that?
