Credit score 803 - denied credit card.

You wot m8? Says on the paper the lowest score is 300 with the highest being 850. I have an 805 and yet it was listed as one of the reasons for denial.

Others were:
- amount on accounts owed too high. Um, it gets paid monthly automatically.
- Length of time account has been established. I've had this account for over 10 years.
- Ratio of balance to limit on bank revolving or other rev accounts too high. WTF does this even mean? Everything is paid monthly with no negatives on the account.

Also said they were unable to extent credit. I wasn't asking for a credit extension/loan. I was applying for a card for the account. So what fukery is this. Says they used a consumer reporting agency: Experian out of Texas.

THIS makes no sense: Our credit decision was based in whole or in part on information obtained in a report from a consumer reporting agency listed below. Then...........................................The reporting agency played no part in our decision and is unable to supply specific reasons why we have denied credit to you. Then..................You have a right to a free copy of the report from the agency within 60 days.

Next level mind fuking. No wondering everyone in the US is fooked.

Cardit card companies have taken notice of the people gaming the sign on bonuses. They’ll block you for rules like if you’ve opened more than 2 cards in the past 24 months etc
Best lifts:
Bench press: 315x5
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

sounds like a doodoo card if they accept a 300 tbh. You are probably over qualified

Nope, been using the same account/cards since 2009. Those cards were Discover/Visa. This card is for our local branch.

I don't have a card tied to that local account. So........not sure what the deal is. Based on the other cards I have with an 805 combined score, shouldn't be an issue. You have $$ in the account, you have a good score, send the card.

Maybe you are paying the credit cards monthly after the date that they post your balance to the credit agencies, so its showing that you are constantly carrying a balance. Find that date and make sure that your payment clears before that date so that your accounts show a 0 balance each month.

Seems stupid, but sometimes little things like that make a big difference.
