"Go to new post" takes forever to load

Started a few weeks back. I thought it must be my extensions, but it repros on another computer and incognito.

When I click this button, the tab takes ~20s to nav to the latest post.





Anyone else seeing this? Haven't debugged it properly yet.

I think it's normal for my VPN to slow it down though right?

With my VPN on, if I click on a link in my CP and want to see which post was repped or negged, the page will load fast in chrome, but it will sit at the top of the page and it takes 5 seconds for it scroll down to the linked post. Is that what is happening with you and jump to new post? It hangs at the top once the page is loaded?

Yes, exactly - the page is loaded but it just hangs at the top for 10-20s. I can manually scroll down.

VPN should not technically slow that down, something else is going on.

You can just right-click and block the url, but I also added it to uBlock.

I looked at the URL in question on Wayback and found that it was archived quite frequently (does Wayback do some sort of crawling? Or maybe every time somebody archives a thread this page would get hit?) up until 5/18/23, but it hasn't been archived since. Also seems to have only appeared in June 2020, which seems surprising - the webpage has been update in the past 10 years?
