The placebo effect is well documented. Mind body connection thingy.
Dunno what the second sentence has to do with the thread topic or Duckliver or me or anything really.

I’ve been sick since June 27 so almost two weeks
Right now, just sore throat and coughing, sometimes coughing up phlegm and congested
Had a few mind foggy days, some days of heavy fatigue where I just slept all day, at least one day where I felt feverish

I had that exactly a month ago and it felt worst than COVID. Went to the ER and my COVID test was negative. I lost smell and taste but it is back about 50% only.
If you are vaxxed, this will never go away. There are many different strains. All of us who are vaxxed are sitting ducks, waiting on whatever strain to pop up and take us out. Each person would react differently to certain strains.

Whatever it is my youngest seems to have had symptoms for about a day or two (tougher to tell symptoms with a 1 yr old) and my wife started having symptoms last yesterday, though she is working today. Prolly the umpteenth common cold Covid strain, so meh. I happened to have water only fasted for 3 days, which essentially gives the immune system a reboot, so I have less of a chance of catching it.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

Only posting because by coincidence I had a sore throat and runny nose July 3rd, but it basically passed in 24 hours. Is it over for us antivax Chads?

Wife and I got it a couple of weeks ago. Started with a sore throat, then congestion. Didn't last long but the crud in my throat lingered. Honestly felt like the same thing that I had earlier in the year.

All I know is that I have seen posts by people describing similar symptoms and claiming that they tested negative for covid, flu, RSV, and strep. I think one said they had a viral panel?

Just saying there appears to be an unidentified virus circulating the main symptoms of which are runny nose/congestion and a sore throat with some people reporting brain fog and/or fever.

I thought it was odd that *maybe* a single virus could be circulating in South American + North America + Bulgaria/Europe. Maybe elsewhere.
And though we do have viruses circulate regularly how often do you recall people citing brain fog as a symptom in the past for a rhinovirus? Maybe flu, but several said not covid and not flu.

brain fog can be easily explained by people being more unhealthy than ever before. just take a step into your local town centre. more than 50% are obese

Summer has always been one of the worst times of year for me getting chest infections, likely with my asthma & rhinitis being aggravated-causing lung & chest issues. A year back the hospital thought I had likely had Pneumonia for over a month before I saw them.

IMO some of it is an actual increase in risk, some is hype, and some is stuff that was already going on and it is just that more people are noticing now.
What's going on with the US$ looks like a real increased risk to me. The Fed is publicly tightening while secretly easing off the balance sheet. The bond market says that rates must come down. Banks are sitting on massive unrealized losses. People assume that if the stock market is up that the economy is good, but it looks like most of the upward momentum has been due to corporations buying back their own stock. And government spending shows no sign of slowing down- added $1T to the US federal debt in about 4.5 weeks.

^^^
We have been running at about $2B day. These two days hit $140B.
Internationally the WHO and now the UN are attempting to grant themselves suprasovereign emergency powers.

^^^
We stop this or become enslaved by the globalists. Conspiracy fact.
Looks like they are attempting to leverage the pandemic to justify their need for these suprasovereign powers. If they are able to get said "emergency powers" then how long do you think we have until there is a convenient emergency?
This and the move toward CBDC/social credit are real threats even if it is a bummer. No point in panic though.
