I’ve done this … where? You’re just making sht up because you’re desperate to cling to a certain narrative. I’ve made it clear many times I’m not talking about some movie. Again, if you cared about the actual issue here it’s not about a movie.

Says the guy who bragged about getting enjoyment from others perceived suffering.

And I can’t make this any more clear. The movie =/= real life. Again, I’ll use Blood Diamond as an example. I know (or knew at this point) a number of people involved in trying to stop conflict diamonds from being shipped out of there countries of origin. While they liked the movie raising awareness, it got a lot of things wrong and they basically didn’t like it. According to your logic that means they supported conflict diamonds.

Maybe I'm too jaded, but to me this whole thing stinks of a marketing ploy created to profit from a very real, horrible evil that exists in the real world without actually doing anything to fix it. It seriously feels like if Taken's entire marketing campaing revolved around "exposing human trafficking".

Helping by "raising awareness" for this kind of problem seems like absolute BS to me and just a way to pretend like they're helping while keeping all the profits to themselves. How does raising awareness of South American and Thai sex trafficking rings to americans help any kids? The ending of the film where Caviezel instructs people to help solve the problem by spreading the word and then shows a QR code where you can purchase more tickets to the film sounds too sleazy to be true.
You know more about the film than I do, but holy sht if this is true. Profiting from sex trafficking without doing a lick to solve it. Vile.

FML dude... wow.
Sound of Freedom is a 2023 American action film directed and co-written by Alejandro Monteverde, and stars Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, and Bill Camp. Caviezel plays Tim Ballard, a former government agent who embarks on a mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Colombia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_of_Freedom_(film)
So given that, WTF is wrong with it and how TF does it =/= real life? Does Tim Ballard not exist? Is the story of him trying to rescue children not real?

Face it, you saw some Rolling Stone and Huffpo reviewers trashing it and decided that's all you needed to know. Isn't it.

Correct.

Mostly because I knew you would snivel about it.

Honest question now.. Are you people even listening to yourselves? Do you even know WHY you're all so enraged by this movie? Not gonna lie bro, but I haven't see you all queef this hard since Kyle Rittenhouse executed three helpless innocent black people in cold blood at a peaceful BLM rally. It's fuking weird man.

So some movie that nobody heard of, with a limited release, low budget, beat Indiana 5, and leftists are losing their minds???

It reminds me of when "Cuties" was released on Netflix, everyone with common sense was disgusted by it, and leftists were like, "What's the big deal???"

Or even the countless examples of their tranny and drag freaks "performing" for children. Not only are they all A-ok with that, but they will throw down on you to defend it..

They defend it, say that it teaches children "tolerance", and then get their panties in a bunch when they get called groomers.

The only reason this movie should be causing any controversy whatsoever is because child sex slavery is a real, growing problem that needs more attention and solving. It isn't a 'conservative' movie, it's a storyline based on a guy who himself and his organization have actually saved trafficked children. I read a negative review from Rolling Stone or some other outlet and it was weird as fuk. The author was obviously frauding about seeing the film in theaters, as his attention was little about the actual film itself, but rather constructing his own imaginary conspiracy theory around audience members.

I'd love to say I just don't understand the attempted attacks on the film, but unfortunately the places attacking it have a history of defending p3do behavior and approving of grooming, so the attacks seem like reviewers keeping in step with their company's past writeups on anything remotely related to the film's topic.

Unlike huge budget films 'Sound of Freedom' has already raked in enough at the box office in just a few days to have made a profit, so that's cool. While playing in half as many theaters as the huge budget films, and so far the movie is only playing domestically. Profits are being directed to organizations that save people who are being trafficked, so again what's the problem? And why did this film face so many obstacles from Hollywood studios that it took years for it to be released?

So now you’re bragging about deliberately having a dishonest conversation. While I’m trying to talk about the actual issues, one that I actually feel strongly about.

You do this and then pretend to hold the moral high ground. You really are a piece of work.

Actually the guy and his org have been known to scam and lie in the past. His org isn't the most reputable one for fighting human trafficking. This whole thing seems like a sleazy money grab profiting off the suffering of kids.

And you said this "Profits are being directed to organizations that save people who are being trafficked, so again what's the problem?" Where? Can you show me where it says this? They gave you that impression, but are they doing it?

On Rotten Tomatoes it has a 76% approval rating by critics, 99% score by audience reviews, so obviously people like it. Attacks on it say more about the attackers than it does about the film, which is a drama based on real life events. Let me guess, "The real Tim Ballard didn't save a girl in Colombia specifically because her brother that he already rescued begged him to save his sister, so therefore it's "not real." Say wut? If that's the standard, then zero Hollywood films can be labeled as based on real life events. I guess the battle of Themopylae between 300 Greek and a much larger Persian army didn't actually happen. I guess the financial fraud and subsequent housing market bust of 2003-09 wasn't real because it uses real life characters but it's dramatized in 'The Big Short,' amirite?

So weird.

No one has an issue with the movie, it's the nutjobs on the right who embrace this like it's some kind of proof that the nonsense they've been fed online is real.

Hurr durrr if you don't support this movie like we do then you're a GROOMER!!!!!!

Why would Jews write of their own coming destruction in Revelation foretelling of a one world government leader turning on them and wiping 2/3 of them out?

Make it make sense..

Those things are wrong too, and people here have repeatedly said so. You are just an incredibly dishonest person who loves to screech and deflect hysterically.

Why does this movie upset you so much?

False, hardly anyone is claiming or implying that. You're just being dishonest, like always.

It doesn't. The morons who demand you support it or it means you support grooming are fuking retards. Get it now?

Note that nowhere here do they say they will donate anything. This is to buy tickets from them.

But they say here: "Buy tickets now to show your support of ending child trafficking."

This is bordering on fraud. They are making people think they are donating to end trafficking when really these guys are pocketing everything and claiming buying from them "shows support to end trafficking." Wow.

Exactly what I would expect from Qanon crew.

Notice even frank fell for it. It really is setup to look like a charity donation type thing.

Good luck with this. These guys are profiting from child trafficking, while the paying viewers are directing their anger at the left. It's beyond fuking stupid.
